Hi all.. I wonder if it's too late to edit the thread title to ask Imagine & Steve ;)

has anyone else been having the mouth pieces on the Iclears just snap off leaving the threaded portion inside the clearo? I've had 5 go in the last week.. thank goodness the other clearo tops fit but.. this even happened with a no nicotine whipped cream flavor juice.. not tank cracker juices. I don't think I'm tightening them too much but I do tend to leave them hanging out of my mouth.. hands free sometimes.

I will see if Imagine can change that for us = ). I have never heard of the mouth pieces breaking off like that. You already answered all of the questions that I had so the only thing that I can think of is that they are not very good for hands free mode. Holding them like that (I assume) would make them weaker but again, I have never run into this before so I can't really say.

They never dried out for me. I once found an old carto that had rolled under my car seat (probably there for months based on what flavor it was) and it still worked. No booties. Also, I used to bootie-fill and then let excess liquid drip back into the booties. The little bit of liquid in there seemed to never evaporate. I'd leave them somewhere away from my usual spot, and weeks or months later when I'd remember, they were still there. The nic would probably degrade over time though. My nic's so low that I never noticed.

I filled a little sauce cup with PG and menthol crystals once (to ward off a mouse - they hate that smell) and it stayed full like that for months. I think it's still there (the cup. not the mouse).

Eliquid does dry up eventually and like Cindy said, the nic will degrade over time. Even getting a drop on my pants while filling a tank will take all day to dry up though. We of course recommend that you keep the rubber caps on when you can but leaving them off for a day or two should be fine.

Hi Imagine,
I have a couple issues with either the Volt X2 battery or the Volt X2 clearomizers. I'm not sure which is giving me the issue. I have been using these for about two years and never a problem. In January I purchased two X2 900 mAh batteries because ours were getting old and figured it was time. I ordered one black and one copper, both automatic and a few clearomizers. Both my husband and I noticed that there was a pretty loud "airy" sound with these batteries, taking a drag was either hit or miss. It was like something was not connecting right. We went through several clearomizers thinking maybe it was them and not the batteries. It didn't matter. I finally opened up a ticket on your website and communicated several times with Ciara...very nice rep...and went over all the possibilities. We decided that I would return them for replacements.

Then came all the snow here in Eastern PA...ugh. I couldn't get to the post office so I ordered two more batteries and told Ciara that I would send the other two back when I received the new ones. The new ones I received today are 600 mAh automatics one in black and one red.
The black one is doing the same thing. Very "airy" sound and taking a drag is hit or miss. Tried two different new clearomizers and still the same. The red one is perfect. I don't know what to do! Now I have three batteries that don't work right. It's not like I'm new to your products. We have been using only Smokless Image products for the past two years. Liquid, batteries and clearomizers and never a problem. Please help.

There are a couple of things that you can do to restrict the airflow if it is too open for you. There are some very small holes in the 808 threads. I have seen some people plug one of those holes with the end of a toothpick and that usually solves the problem. The auto batteries are a bit touchy when it comes to air flow because a very small variation in the threading can make a big difference in the overall air flow of the device. I would give the toothpick trick a try and see if that works for you. Just put the toothpick in one of the holes and break it off. If this doesn't solve the problem just let us know and we can go from there. = )

Thanks Steve I will give that a try. We have always used the autos and never an issue before. Would that cause the hit or miss when taking a drag?

It might. If there is not enough pressure being made by taking a draw, the switch will not activate.
