I sent a ticket in a few days back which pretty much seems to have been ignored. Same with a friend of mine. Kinda left regretting that i didn't stick with my usual stance of only ordering from vendors with item in hand. For extra $2-3 i'd probably be waking up tomorrow morning with one waiting in my mailbox.

Given the lack of information, I wouldn't recommend ordering from there until there is some confirmation items are being shipped.

Ditto what you said. I doubt these guys will ever get any of my business again.

I'm not sure how this KF4 is working out for me. Taste wise I'm still only getting machine oil so I'll have to boil it in vinegar or something tomorrow.

However, the juice control doesn't really work when the 510 pin is tightened. If I loosen the pin the JC rotates, but how much it rotates depends on how much I loosen the pin...

I had to dismantle mine completely and boil it for 25 minutes. 4 previous cleanings didn't get it out.

Hmm, my 510 pin is stuck. Maybe that's why my jc isn't working right.

What did you boil it in? Just straight water?

I've got it completely disassembled and it'll be soaking in rubbing alcohol overnight. Tomorrow I'll give it another bath in dawn + hot water, and then boil it in water and maybe some vinegar, and then wash it again. If that doesn't work I'm going to give up.

As for the JC ring not working, my air control screw was backed almost all the way out. I took it out and the jc worked just fine. If you screw it in till it's just flush with the weird looking screw it goes into the jc also works.

I did use plain water. I almost threw vinegar in, but decided to try water first. Hmm, I do have that afc screw sticking out. Should I make it flush with its opening?

That's what I did. To be honest I didn't notice a huge difference between taking the screw out, leaving it sticking out and having it flush. It only really restricted the airflow after I screwed it most of the way in.

Well if I don't have mine or at least hear from them by Friday I'll just dispute it with Paypal. I can get it from Focals us warehouse or ebay and don't mind paying an extra $5 to know I'm actually getting it..

Threaten to put a Paypal claim and get your friend to do the same, that will put the wind up him.

I'll be tempted tomorrow if i don't get a reply to my follow up inquiry i sent earlier tonight. Planning on it if not by Friday.

Not that i was even really initially sweating a delay or anything either....but you'd think he'd at least make the effort to answer people's email. Although as my friend pointed out earlier, with no listed phone #, a simple "coming soon!" message if you click on any detail links at the bottom of the site page, and some pretty bad customer service reviews with a little digging....probably should of known better lol.

I hate vendors that stop communicating once they've got money.
By the sounds of things this particular guy is one for doing this to people on a regular basis too - I'd just put the claim in now if I were you.

My FT K4 is finally going to make it to my mailbox today, followed by another the next day or so and TGT II clone about the same time.
I take exceptionally great pleasure making these clones work equal to or better generally than their counter parts. It's all made possible with a bit of thought and a Dremel. I try to avoid any slicing and dicing on a near $200 atty but got no problem when it comes to a $20 one.
(just one of many reasons that I like clones, my authentic ones serve as "control copy's")

I tried putting some dental floss under the #16 o ring like KTM Rider said. I put about 6 inches of floss, but it made the o ring too big and ended up cutting it when I screwed the juice control back in.

I replaced the o ring, but if it leaks again I'll probably try one wrap of dental floss. Good thing it came with spares and the diagram lists the o ring sizes.

Not EHPro but I just re-wicked my Ni200 twice, I normally use rayon, hadn't used cotton in months. I decided because of how fragile the coil is and cotton swells a tad I thought I might be able to get the proper density in the coil without disturbing it much which I did. I just couldn't handle the taste even after a dozen pulls so I re-wicked again with rayon and all is well again.
Back when I used cotton all the time I never complained about the cotton taste but this was not the same cotton that I used to use which was CVS sterile balls, it was some kind of organic cotton that came with Royal wire.

I never really got the cotton taste before but I liked the way rayon wicked so much better so I had been using it. However, I had the same thought process as you about the fragile coils and the way cotton expands. I use KGD on all of my Ni200 builds now and only use the rayon for Kanthal tank or dripper builds.

I think I'll pick up some KGD then

Fasttech listed a new KF4 by Infinite this morning.

Put a bit larger Oring on the JC side of the deck, #16, it has eliminated all juice in the bottom section floods/gurgles, found an appropriate one for the Red ringed one from Focal in my box of spares, and for the Robot the red ring I replaced fit perfect.

Spend the 35 and get an ultrasonic cleaner. Dilute some simply green and you'll never have you worry about machine oil again.

I ran mine about 6 times through an ultrasonic cleaner, soak it in just-boiled water with dawn, took a toothbrush to every part, soaked it in alcohol for hours TWICE, and it still has a slight hint of machine oil taste. It's such a PITA, but I think I MOSTLY got it out. Like I said, just a slight hint of it.
