Choices? Officially kayfun 5 is made for 0.5 ohms and higher. Check the manual. Have question of the quality of the peek being used if it's 0.5+. RDTA, supreme, even something the clieto does 0.4 yet a £100 tank is limited from the start. I've used v4's and while tank is simpler, it's still missing basic stuff. Should be able to do 0.2 ohms easily. tanks half the price can. Good luck to the v5 crowd. I'll stick things like the avocado 24mm with a notch coil. The price should not justify the product like the v5. The product should simply that good to demand more. It's not. This is not the only tank like this. Squape dream is in the same boat. Over priced and missing steps.

What is the saying " Horses for Courses "
Thousands of these will be snapped up in the next few weeks especially in Europe where the TPD comes into effect on the 20th May which will restrict Tank capacity to 2 Ml .....whether or not this will impact on what we will be able to purchase in future is anyones guess
I will be purchasing 2 having read the contents of the thread and watched the Video Review !
These will "Work" fine for me at what I see as a reasonable price !
Each to Their Own !

Missing steps?

Remember, if it wasn't for the Kayfun in 2012, none of the Avocado, Clieto, Billow, Pillow (whaat? who coins such names?) most probably wouldn't be there ;)

Kayfun is the pioneer ~ RTAs were born b'coz of this fascinating, awe inspiring, well performing, wonderful design.

And these cellphone towers inside my deck:

Nah, not for me!

You can have all the dual, velocity style, clapton this, stapled that, fused this, top airflow, adjustable drip tip RTAs! There are plenty of them out there and more coming out of China every day... I've tried a bunch and I'm extremely happy to stick to a simple design with a single coil. That is what I choose to vape and my choices are limited these days, but at least this limited type of RTAs include some of the best out there. You wanna call it 2014, fine with me, there's no need for you to waste your time on this thread, cause all of us here are very excited about 2014.

Some think we must vape like they vape.

Absolutely! I was only just looking at my vape cupboard for something to put some vanilla custard in, and I just thought "I dont actually enjoy using most of the things I've bought in the last year!" :/

I've bought a few of the latest Chinese tanks, such as Serpent, but I've been using most of them for a purpose they were not designed for- restricted airflow MTL. It's frustrating when the smallest of slits in the AFC is just about ok...and then you go and nudge it! I think I'll actually go and put a new build in my KF4 :)

Exactly, and if you don't then you need to "get with times"... cause making the switch from nasty cigs to vaping is not enough, we need to make HUGE clouds to make it count.
LOL! I'm pretty confident in saying that the large majority of vapers do not use or have an interest in dual coil Clapton's. For those who do, no problem. Whatever you enjoy. :)

Same here, I have a bunch of RTAs just sitting there collecting dust, including the Serpent and a bunch of dual RTAs and Velocity RDA, it's not for me... K4, KM3, Lemo2, and now Squape RS are all I use these days. I had to try all kinds of things since I quit smoking and this is what I settled on. All that's missing is the K5 ;)

You don't see us going to the other threads and telling vapers not to waste their money on cloud making machines! To each his own, vape whatever you want, safely, as long as it keeps you off cigs.

I suppose it would be really to hang a standard coil on the side of that deck. It appears to be designed for duals, but a single could fit between the posts and make use of the dual airflow ports.

The graphic shows a 6mm on center between the posts. A 2.5mm cross counted coil would work as well as one on each side for duals. It actually looks like an easy build to me. The tension screws are outside instead of under your fingers.
