Authentic Svoemesto Kayfun Lite - 2019 & 2021 Version

Pretty sure I've got the 'Rona! Lungs are hating DL atm, so I fired up my one remaining unmodified KF20 deck (they came out in 2020, deal with it) and went with MTL with a heavier Nic base...Really liking the results so far. Great flavor, and my lungs aren't trying to jump out of my chest!! (no fever yet, so don't be too concerned)

Well let's hope that you don't and that if you do, you get by it like most people do.

There's some not exactly insignificant data indicating that nicotine may have an inhibitive effect on this virus and maybe even most respiratory viruses. I'm not stating that as fact, but those who are supposed to know these things have released some studies leaning in that direction. Whatever that's worth.

One thing I can say for sure: DL at low-ish power (32-35watts) with 6mG/mL hurts!! 12mG/mL MTL at 32watts is totally comfortable...for now

I bought some packs gasket kits a couple of days ago, but the store was a little bad at knowing which one was which. Are there any of you who are good at seeing the difference between kayfun v3.1, kayfun [lite] Plus (the old one), Mini v3?

Kayfun 3.1, and Kayfun Lite Plus (aka KFL+) share the same threading and accessories.

The 3.1 has a fill valve on the side of the base, and the KFL has a port on the bottom that is sealed with a small screw.

The Mini v3 is like a smaller v5.

It actually looks like there is one [Lite] I have, that's how it is to be a Kayfun amateur.
Lite Pluss has air adjustment at the bottom, while Lite has air adjustment at the side, right? Both have the option of filling in the bottom something Kaufun 3.1 does not have ...

I am very curious about how your experience / opinion will be with MTL Pro.
I ended up using the MTL Pro pin in all my three KFL'21.

i don't think I'd say it's objectively better or worse. I will say that for somebody who likes their mtl vape very tight it's better. It's better for ME because that's how I like my mtl vape.

When I put the first one in, I did a side by side comparison with my other one with the stock pin. Same level of restrictiveness. The pro pin is a hair quieter and smoother at the tighter end and gives a hair better flavor too. Of course I don't have a flavometer I can hook up that will give numbers on something like this, but that's my honest subjective sense..

For somebody who prefers a more open mtl vape, I don't think it will make much difference. Maybe, but not much. When the pin is in tight enough to where you only have a small amount of air coming around it to the coil, the hole puts that additional stream of air right on the middle of the coil. Once it's opened much more than that you largely lose the benefit and distinction of the middle hole in the pro pin.

That's my humble opinion. They're inexpensive enough to be worth trying if somebody's not sure whether they would prefer it or not.

Oh yeah. The o-rings on the 2 new pins are fine too. Our friend needs to maybe contact Svoe Mesto or grab a spares kit. There has to be something wrong with the one he has

No, this fella back a few pages was having trouble with the very small one at the bottom of the pin in the 510 connector.

The O-ring gets pushed out when I tighten the airflow pin.

Of course, I only tried one of two decks, and did not investigate any spares that may or may not be in the bags.

Will check all this today and report back!

Does it fit snugly in the little slot/channel in the end of the pin?

I'm sure you saw there's a matching slot there that the o-ring is supposed to sit in. Is it tight in there?

One pro I forgot to mention for the 21 plus, though somebody else may have, is that you can change the pin on the fly without having to even open the tank.

With the 19 you have to take the deck out and unscrew the pin from the deck. Not that anybody will likely be swapping out pins very much, but worth mentioning.

I bought the SBS from CdV and got it today. From the time I ordered until I received the package it took 4 days, CdV is just amazing.

Since they also sell SvoeMesto, I bought an extra KFL'21 deck + MTL pin.
I am very happy with my KFL'19 with the XS pin, and will most likely not use the upgrade deck, but it is always nice to have one spare deck lying around.

Maybe I'm a little different than others, but red as well as purple is my SBS wish list.
Would also like one in wood, but I like best three colors that look natural.

I think you have been unlucky to have been given one set where the o-ring falls out almost every time you adjust deeply.

Yes, I think your case is a faulty product that SM should help you with, by sending a new part to you.

I tested out my spare deck, the o-ring popped off asap, after back and forth with other air-pins (which worked fine) I mounted the original which suddenly worked fine.

I reckon that SM will have to redo the pin a bit, less cut towards the screw head.

A little lub and mine popped right in. Once it's in there's not much of a reason for it ever to come out again. Same with the top o'rings, but those are definitely more problematic if you bother to clean your tank every now and then.
