I agree. Don't get peppery from them. To me all has a sweetish base. Went through all 7 that's 3 weeks old now, and love them all. Don't know about Oompa yet...
I could never warm up to Oompa. A better alternative if you like a dark chocolate NET would be Temptation. It has a dark choco top note with a tobacco/creamy base. Temptation is what Oompa was supposed to be. :)

HHV is truelly talented in the art of juice making...no doubt. I've made my own Net and artificials. I'm terrible at it, but have realised how involved it is to create something even sort of worthwile.
I've tried so many good (some not so good) NETS from all over, but theirs have that something that makes it stand out above others....a next level liquid if you will !!!
I mean to create those beautifully balanced flavours within the natural smokeyness, is not easy. In my book they definitely deserve applaud and respect...:nun:

I also get a sweetness from them, nothing peppery at all, And I'm amazed because the ones I love are all nets and to me, they all taste bakery like...yes oopma was one I didn't care for, but like bronze mentioned, tempation is awesome! !!!

I haven't had an HHV juice since I first began vaping, some 4 yrs ago.
But, after reading here lately I decided to try some again, so got some Dragon's Fire, Georgia Peach, Temptation, and Heavenly Tobacco (which was the last one of theirs I had and thought was pretty good.) Let you know.
How long a steep?
In my experience, pepperiness comes from the nic base, not the flavors. Let you know about this too.

Never noticed a peppery taste in HHV liquid. I always found HHV flavors to be totally inoffensive. Might not like some of the flavors but never had to spit them out like some vendors. Seems each vendor has their own signature that runs throughout their menu.

I have some samples left and it’s been awhile since second try. Seems like based on your posts that there is merit is giving it another go! and...

got email with tracking # for my Prime from OV this evening - it’s was late so I’m guessing it will start moving my way tomorrow. YAY! I didn’t pay for Priority but even first class moves fairly quickly as a rule. It won’t be long now and it’s pending arrival definitely something I’ll be looking forward to.

The only time I got a peppery taste was the first and only time I tried diy. I made a batch and didn't shake it enough and got that taste, besides that , never..so I would say your right, in that it's the nic and not flavorings...I'm probably in the minority on steeping hhv juices, for I like them less steeped...imo, at least with the ones I vape, especially DF, I prefer it fresh as to a longer steep. I once forgot a bottle of DF, it was about 2 months old and didn't care for it as much. It seems like the more they age, the more tobacco forward they are...I like them sweet, so for me, straight out of bottle, to 1 month old is my preference . Also the 3 you mentioned are my favs, DF, peach tobacco, and temptation. ...also like the mocha java smooth

@Bronze

JAC B75 landed on my doorstep this morning.

Finally got to open it after work.

Wow. Just wow.

The last time I was THIS surprised and pleased with a mod, was when I got my first BBox Rev4

Before that it was the Provape Radius

And before that was the Provape Provari v2.5

All I can say is:

Wow.

When Provape was still alive and kicking, I saw Evolv as "the enemy" as I was such a Provape fan...and still am of course!

But as I've settled into the DNA60, via my BBox Rev4 collection, I've come to depend on them...especially considering the FDA wasteland we find ourselves in, and especially considering the loss of Provape.

I have actually found myself leaning on the BBox more, as a subconscious defense mechanism to protect my Provape gear...in fear of wearing it out...which is theoretically improbable, but I'm not willing to risk it.

Now, thanks to Scottish innovation, I think I've found another device that can ease the burden on my beloved Radius gems.

I will likely purchase 2-3 more JAC B75's...

I won't ever completely mothball my Provape babies...but they will live a more pampered life than they do now!

So, in closing...thanks @Bronze for persistently mentioning/posting about the B75...because you alone convinced me to even investigate the device, let alone consider buying one.

And to the ECF members whose names I recognized in the JACvapour website reviews of the B75...thanks go to you too!

JACvapour owes all of you some kind of debt!

PS

Oh yeah...Kayfun Prime looks GREAT on top of the JAC in person...as if the posted pics here didn't do the combo enough justice.

Just waiting for the stainless steel 22mm B75 version...I like my mods and tanks to match, and I don't have any tried and true black tanks at the moment...which makes me sad.

Glad you like it HB. The JAC B is, indeed, a serious mod. I like the compact size, build quality, Evolv chip, and overall appearance. And you just cant beat the price. The Prime is a perfect marriage. Two cons to be aware of. One, the fire button is super light. Some people like it that way. I find myself activating it often without wanting to. Takes a little getting used to. Two, the batt door magnets can work themselves loose. If they come out, glue them back in making sure you have the polarity the correct way.

I actually switched to TC with this mod. I like it marginally more than power mode. But I still keep my Radius around. The way I see it, Provape closed their doors so we have to find alternatives. So I'm not going to hang on to the "good ole days". Instead, i'm keeping an open mind about accepting new stuff. The JAC filled the void for me. The newer version I believe had the 75C chip. It's a more user friendly chip that I can tell. Not sure if it offers much more than that.

It certainly is a beautiful mod, love the size, weight, and feel. And it's price is so reasonable.

For being an old provape fan. I may have to check into this mod. I’ve got an sx mini g class. Love it.

We ProVape fans got spoiled with the quality of ProVape products. The JAC DNA Series B holds its own.

I will definitely put this device on the top shelf, reserved for my high quality mods...

It is shoulder to shoulder with my Provape, Billet Box, ZNA, and Mark Bugs mods.

And I say that after only having used it for about two hours last night.

I'll be using it all day today...and I expect nothing less than a superbly satisfying vape.

Got my Prime. Not happy yet... the airflow ring had to be in wrong position inside the base (I didn’t take base apart but cannot think of any other explanation to 510 plate being in “non -flush” position when holes are exactly mid center in airflow valve window when airflow ring in up position. So, stupid question for those of you not effected, BUT when 510 plate is in correct position to slide airflow ring back down on it safely (or possibly, hideyho :grr:) is your airhole in center position? And does 1 dot on edge of 510 plate match largest or the smallest hole?? Spent 2 1/2 hrs and stumped and extremely frustrated. I did have tank opened slightly, btw. Everthing is smooth until try to push airflow ring back down on plate (when any hole is centered in the airflow window).

I haven't monkeyed with mine but yes, the 1 dot is supposed to align with the smallest hole.

Follow-up question: how “slightly open” (what Soemesto Prime Manual says) do any of you have to open the tank to be able to adjust the airflow - I have to open it several full turns to be able to adjust. If not, the 510 plate won’t kick out enough to adjust the airflow. I have unfortunately not been able to vape on it yet. I don’t want juice in so long as not functioning properly. I don’t give up easily, so will revisit tomorrow at first opportunity. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Mine needs to be opened about 1 and a half turns to adjust the airflow. Which I will admit is slightly irritating if you want to adjust. But it is what it is. Same as the Kayfun 5. I usually only need the liquid control open 1 turn, so it does mean having to open it further to adjust. But not a huge problem.
