I really would like to have a couple of the gold ones, kind of hard to tell the difference in the two though. I would also like a black one though.

Gold one on the right is a Matt finish, one on the left is shiney, or from what I can see anyway :)

In some tanks, one can use something like SS mesh to tighten up the airtube. I have an armed tilehamos that's a bit tight with one of the included af tubes and a bit too open on the other. I take a bit of mesh, roll it into a tube, and insert it . It definitely works on dialing in a specific draw. If the k5 's is similiar to the k5 deck, you could actually insert this mesh into the main af tube . Unfortunately in that type of configuration, you would need to remove coil to insert, but once dialed in, you shouldn't need to remove or redo it for a while
@Bronze, From the the SvoëMesto site: "the M2L Kit for Kayfun 5 is an accessorie for a tighter draw. Included are three pieces with three different diameter(1,6mm / 1,4mm / 1,2mm)". What I need is something inbetween the Prime's 2mm and the K5²'s 3mm.
On further investigation I think I've made a boo-boo. The French webshop I bought mine from described the K5² as "indirect inhaling" whilst the well-known CdV in UK said "This tank is not recommended for MTL vaping". I can do MTL on it, but it has taken a few days to get used to it and moving from it to my Prime, or one of my Kabukies the difference is dramatic.
I think it is time to write to Le Petit Vapoteur!

It's a vapeproline stratum LS 75. There are 2 stratum types, one is from OLC and one from vaproline. I guess they were partners at one time and went separate ways. They are Russian based and both do have Internet stores and also Facebook groups. The vapeproline stratums are a little expensive , but the OLC'S are very expensive, but I'm addicted to both.
    What mod is that? :?:

Yes you can get them in a bunch of configurations. All have the 2 panels on the sides, but you can add more SS panels on the other sides and obviously customize those 2 main panels. I never cared for the standard SS panels that say stratum or vapeproline, but once they became customizable, I thought the look was alot better. Very light and small mod, about 65 grams at 76x36 mm in dimensions

How does one acquire the custom panels? Through FB only? I don't see that option on the Rusmods page.

    Thanks,

This is my first kayfun and my first rebuildable. I was wondering if anyone ran a kayfun prime build in temp mod? Similar to 28ga SS, 2.5mm, 8 wraps.

I've been fiddling with 405-420F and 15-18J. Still trying to find a sweet spot. I'm not sure if it's my cotton i'm tasting or if the flavors are slightly mild. BUT I do taste the strawberry once I inhale and creamy notes upon exhale.

Vaping Oh Face + Nic Salt. 8mg/ml

I vape at 430 with a 26 ga. SS coil at .47 ohms. Takes a little getting used to and yes you will have to find your sweet spot. Give it some time.

Make sure the coil is high enough up. I usually aim for 1.5mm gap between the airhole, and bottom of the coil. Low the coil, more throat hit. Higher up, more flavor. I think that's what it is.

As for the cotton taste....How much cotton you using? Maybe try less cotton, thin out the cotton a bit. I was getting a cotton taste at first, I trimmed up the side of the wick a bit, and that fixed it. Takes some time to dial it right in. But I will say, that the prime is great.

Hi again KFP users! I'm finding the Prime gives some incredible flavour but I'm still getting a very slight leak issue. Nothing major but always a small damp spot on the mod seemingly from the very bottom rather than the air holes which are dry. Any pointers?
