Very tired of problems still popping up after the great ECF migration (to new server or whatever)...
I mean TapaTalk is always troubled by garbage updates, but I feel like this picture issue is on the ECF side of things.
I think I will start a thread on ECF to find out how I can get my VCR to quit blinking on midnight.

There has always been something saying it's bad to put a metal object on a live coil, so I guess that's why some use ceramic tweezers. I use a blunt tip needle when rebuilding, I use it to strum, space coils, prod cotton, etc. When setting up a spaced coil, I even use it as I'm depressing the fire button and nothing ever bad happens, so am I just getting lucky? I have done it for years and never once has the mod said short or anything....

The reason for ceramic tweezers is heat.

That makes sense. I thought it was because a metal one might short out. I don't feel the need for tweezers on a live coil, but from time to time do use the metal blunt tip, so was just curious why mine wasn't shorting. I even tried a instant read thermometer on a live coil, just to see if I could get a coil temp and nothing happened.

My Prime hit the PO Box yesterday and, like any good vaper, I hit the road to pick it up. I gave a good wash with Dawn, if it is good enough for oil laden ducks then it is good enough for me. After watching the @vapdivrr video, I built it and have been using it through four ML. (Nice tip on the unequal coloration to know if the wick is proper. I found that previous wicking had that problem and I wondered why - now I know.) It is a very very easy build despite its small size. I got a leak free build first time and watched those bubbles ooze out the liquid control as I adjusted it.
It sits on my JAC. I am in TC with SS at 0.57 Ohms and a temperature of 375 F. I like it, other than size it is very similar to the 5. I like the smaller size, it seems balanced and certainly not as top heavy. I am not a huge fan of the air flow adjustment but it seems like the kind of thing that will be fine once I use it a little. I am a slow adapter to change. And please remove yourself from my lawn.

Thank you very much for checking, I will check it on the next build. I contacted Svoemesto and they offered me to replace the two parts that come in contact. I'm very surprised with their service, another prove that most of the time you get what you pay. I also like the option of finding and replacing separate parts when needed instead of having to replace the whole atomizer.... I believe it will take much time for me to consider any other atomizer.

I hear what you’re saying about being a slow adaptor to change! I’m the same. I’ve had a long long love affair with the Kayfun Lite Plus. I’ve bought every Kayfun since, but the Lite plus has always been special.
Upon buying the Prime, it is the only Kayfun to date that I feel can replace the Lite Plus. Been using it now for almost 5 months every day and it is as close to perfect as can be. And I love the smaller, more compact size. Looks much more appealing on nearly every mod. I think I’d be quite happy if I never had another tank to buy. I get the feeling the Prime will still be used by many in years to come. In the same way the Lite Plus was/is.
It seems so well made, it ought to last a long time. O-rings and screws seem to be the only parts that could be lost or damaged (absent cross threading by error). I think that it was a good buy.
I can learn from experience though. Note to self: Close the juice control when filling. Remember to re-open it after filling.

I know many here are happy with their Primes, but I'm stuck with my V5 due to budgetary constrains.
Just wondering if anyone with both atomizers have tried swapping the centre posts and/or the AFC ring?
Trying to figure a way to cut down on the airflow of the V5 without resorting to the MTL kit.
