OK, start with this. I'm assuming you took the center pin out?? When you put that bottom hex plate back in you have to be sure you line up the dots corresponding to the correct air hole. Six dots with largest air, one dot with smallest air.

Presto, you nailed it in three sentences. Perfect, thanks.

Well, I don't know how but I did it. I took this rather simple little jewel apart for a cleaning. When I re-assembled it, I must have gotten it wrong. All of the air flow settings seem the same, very restrictive. I took it back apart several times but don't see how I could have messed this thing up. It is probably something simple and I will feel like a fool when it is explained to in single syllable words. But if you have a thought, be kind, but tell me.

If you figure it out, remember what it was because there are some who really like it tighter....did you take out the entire airflow pin, the tube under the hex plate?

So it wasn't really tighter then, just backwards?

I believe so, the fix was so obvious when pointed out. I wish that I had not embarrassed myself so publicly, good thing there is some anonymity on a forum.

No embarrassment here, that's what this is all about....

If you think you're the only one to miss that, think again. No reason whatsoever to be embarrassed.

Talk about embarrassing, I was rewicking once and after I glew (I know that's not a word, but I like it better then glowed) a coil (I was in a little hurry) I went to blow on it to cool it down, but got to close and burnt my darn lip...you could literally see coil lines on my lip

Hey folks - I am having an issue with my prime after putting some miles on it. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. After a week or two on a coil I start to get fluctuating resistance. My freshly built coils come out right under 1 ohm (6 wraps kanthal, 2.0 ID) and the resistance is stable for several days. The fluctuations take it up to 1.4, 1.5 or higher. Once that starts happening it ping pongs back and forth between the original resistance and the high resistance. Getting the coil hot from use seems to drop it back down. I haven't had this problem on other atomizers, but I took a break from building for a while so maybe I'm just sloppy now. Any feedback on what may be going on in there would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Check the bottom pin/screw on the 510 connection. Litter bugger likes to loosen up on it's own. First and easiest thing you can check.

Yep its usually the pin on bottom or possibly a loose connection. You can also pull out the 510 screw and plate and check the base of tube. This af tube tightens into the build deck and if it's loose, you will have issues

This will, sometime, help all of us (well, maybe not all but certainly one of us who is nameless).
This problem has been run into before by many of us. That center pin comes loose over time and wigs out the atomizer...especially with TC vapers. Doesn't hurt to give that center pin a little cinch every few months. In fact, I'm going to do mine now. :)

have you maybe noticed the KP draining battery faster than other RTAs?(same 1.5ohm @12w)
maybe it's just device related for my part.
I personally havent, but it's interesting. I never though or ever heard comparisons between different tanks regarding battery draining, at least not with the same exact build and power

Well, it couldn't hurt. From what I've read though the authentic Primes aren't arriving liberally covered with machine oil, and if you've been vaping it for a while and not noticing any problems/taste issues, I'd imagine it could probably wait until your next re-wick or whatever. I mean... do what you are comfortable with but if you aren't getting horrible tastes/smells etc., I'm not sure what much it would do for you at this point.
