Hello I'm not a new vaper, but recently got the above rta.... now my first build on it came out at 1.9 ohms, high , I know, but I really enjoyed the flavour only at low watts... vaped whole 5 mm tank full. So this morning decided to build new coil, at lower ohm... but got few vapes of flavour then burnt dry hit.... so built another coil, same thing again... third time built a 1.8 ohm coil, less cotton wick etc... lasted a little longer but now tastes burnt too.... what the heck am I doing wrong?? Is it possible that my juice is bad in this tank now, and would I be better cleaning it all out totally? Any tips please ....

Well, you might go back to your prior resistance coil and see how that does. I'd agree this tank is tricky for several reasons. One is, it has quite restricted airflow, so if wattage goes too high, to power a lower ohm's coil, it may not be your wick (entirely) it just may be too much wattage in a small space is singing your wick (I'm going to assume in this example that you were firing lower watts for your first setup?

I didn't find wicking hard with this tank (coil placement, maybe a bit) but I use rayon. It withstands more heat without burning. Also important, not to overwick in this tank I'd think. Due to the really tight draw, you need some thinning and trimming so it doesn't choke the tank's (very low airflow). So, I made sure my wicks weren't overdone at least not outside of the coil. It made no sense to me that a thinner wick would work better, but it seems to consistently do so (in my builds at least). The less wick I have, the less it will "choke" the tank and also less eliquid needs to saturate the wick, meaning less dry hits and etc.

Hope any of this was helpful. The berserker can be a bit tricky but it does offer outstanding flavor. Etc.

Good luck,

Anna
