Man, this thread has blown up since I last looked. It was on page 3 and had stayed there a while. I haven't gone back and read what's been up here, but i will eventually. I've got some extracts mixed that I haven't touched yet, and some I haven't even made into juice yet. The one's I have mixed are now 3-6 mths old. I need to test them out when I get some time and report back. I've checked a couple out in the last few days, but nothing noteworthy. If you haven't checked out H/H Vermont Meat Candy, I enjoyed that. I need to go back to that and see how's it's aged. Sutliff Rum Raisin was worth mentioning iirc. Tatiana Groovy Blue is really good. The few others I've liked so far have been mentioned multiple times in the parts I've scanned here. I'm glad this thread has picked up. Maybe it'll motivate me to sit down and go through all my stuff.

Tatiana Groovy Blue is really good.

Hey TM! I have four Tatiana extracts I need to get into. They're all over a year old now. Nightcap, Fuson Frenzy, Rum, Cognac. Cigars aren't my favorites but I can vape em'. Got me curious about them now. lol!

Been stuck on a blend of Dunhill Royal Yacht 6% and McClellands Blending Perique 4% 60/40 pg/vg 14mg/nic (wish I had kept it at 12) since the subject of Perique came up. Will probably blow through this 55ml before I move on to something else. Pretty good all day smok!

I have extracted some cigars 3 weeks ago by the hot ethanol extraction method from str8. I have tried two from them and one is pretty good:

La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero - Cigars International

It tastes very good at 10 percent extract. I like the flavours very much. Perhaps it will be stronger after one or two months but its now much stronger and better as all net.com cigar juices. I have never thougth that i will have luck after only 3 weeks with the hot ethanol extraction at cigars. Wow ! This could be one of my favourite juices. Thank you str8 !

Now i am waiting for the acid blonde, the fire cured drew, the vintage 90 and some other good ones.

What is the added flavoring in Tatiana's "Groovy Blue"? Blueberry? I haven't extracted H/H's Vermont Meat Candy yet but now that someone has given it the nod of approval..... ;)
It's been a while, but iirc, it's more of a general berry flavor, not a specific one. It's pretty pronounced though. I have to go somewhere, but I'll break it out later. The meat candy is good. It's different. It's worth checking it out if you're already making an order. I need to get that out again to give a better description.

I think you'll like the Acid Blondie, it's my favorite -cigar- so far although just a medium strength tobacco. Will be extracting a second one soon, first cigar I've ever extracted twice....

Let me know how the "fire cured drew" does, I've not extracted that.

Morning
I'm patiently waiting for my next batch to ready themselves for filtering. Got about two weeks left which will put them at nine/ten weeks.

I should be getting my last order from P&C today:
Sutliff Private Stock Molto Dulce - PipesandCigars.com - Reorder after smelling the first one I got. Can't wait to try this one.

Cult Blood Red Moon - PipesandCigars.com

McClelland Cigar Blends Dominican Glory Maduro - PipesandCigars.com - I can't remember why I got this...hehe.

Hearth & Home Signature Freight Train - PipesandCigars.com - Because I really enjoyed boomerdude's extract.

CAO Black - PipesandCigars.com - I liked NET.com's blend with raspberry so, thought I'd try this.

Cornell & Diehl Mocha - PipesandCigars.com - I've been liking other blends with a chocolate flavor. Giving this one a shot.

I've found that in my beginner's enthusiasm I'm fairly awash in extracts/juice. Easily have enough and enough variety for a year. Yet, still I want to try new ones.

67Tele, have you ever checked out this site for tobacco or for prices? They have a very wide variety of tins and bulk tobacco as does P&C: http://www.smokingpipes.com/tobacco/bulk/

I've been thinking about the single varietals and what to get to experiment in blending after extraction. A couple that have been discussed here:
McClelland Blending Perique - PipesandCigars.com
John Cotton's Smyrna - PipesandCigars.com

I have a good supply of the English style blend from various extracts and though the Perique and Smyrna probably lend themselves more to that taste what could you suggest for something a bit drier with a little bite to it. I'm still searching for the sharp, grassy, hay-like experience. I have Dunhill's Elizabethan almost ready to filter so that may scratch the itch.

What would y'all recommend for Burley, Virginias, Oriental...?

Thanks!

I use the ratings on each tobacco at P@C to help me decide which one is full flavored. Found one from 5 Brothers with a strength rating of five stars. The question is whether "strength" refers to "bite", "nicotine content" or "flavor."

Reading through the reviews I'm guessing the full strength is referring flavor and nicotine. One refers to it as "the Dunhill Nightcap of burlies". I put it on my Wish List.

Thanks exchaner!

Here's a few I find myself using quit a bit in different combinations Dunhill The Royal Yacht, Solani Aged Burley Flake No. 656, Blending - Izmir Ribbon Cut, Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Dark Bird's Eye (I love this stuff, tastes like Dirty Neutral Base, compliments the blend with an ashy taste that may not appeal to some) and Samuel Gawith 1792 Flake (although not a single variety it is similar (but different) to the Dark Bird's Eye when used in lesser % to compliment the blend with a very nice flavor. Be warned about them because they are potent like Latakia but different in taste.) I have five tobacco's to extract but haven't started them yet. Hopefully this weekend. Blending – Smyrna, Blending - Toasted Burley, La Brumeuse Semois - Shag Cut, Peter Stokkebye 84 Turkish, GL Pease Union Square, GL Pease JackKnife. I know, I got it bad, like you and it's all Str8vision's fault!

I would say a combo of bite/nic. I smoked 5 Brothers and liked it, but never thought it overly strong.

The Solani and Birdseye have gone straight to the cart. I have the SG 1792 , Peter Stokkebi Turkish and GL Pease Jackkife already soaking.

Thanks man! I'll look at the others...and add more to the Wishlist.

And yeah I got it bad too. I'm starting to feel somewhat awash in juice but...I have about eight to filter in the next two weeks or so....and so it goes! I'm having a blast with this!
