Yeah, the pod prices seem high, but it’s the same price von erl was charging, too. I was paying 5 bucks a piece for 510 attys and ce4 clearos when I started, so it seems ok as long as I can get several refills out of them, but we’ll just have to see. I’ve seen a few options with cheaper pods, but nothing that seems perfect yet. The MyBlu should do well for the foreseeable future.

I 'think' the Blu is just a sidestep for me. ...a novelty. I may pass a couple to some smokers. I'll admit I like the form factor. : )

I've refueled with some 50mg flavorless.

The vapor from the Blu, both the original pod and so far the refill seem to burn into my tounge more. Not exactly pleasant aftersting. Maybe that has to do with the short chimney or could have been the Gold Leaf flavor.

Did you wash and rewick the pod? If not, you've only diluted the original flavor. It will fade but you'll get the freshest flavor with a cleaned pod and fresh cotton. The Gold Leaf tastes like straight black pepper to me. Not bad but not something that I enjoy. I haven't found a tobacco flavor that is spot on. Seems like they either taste like pepper, like licking an ash tray, or like caramel. Juul's tobacco also tastes like pepper to me also but it is a lot lighter.

I didn't rinse. I also expected the flavor to linger for a while with the refill. This morning, with a fresh mouth, the refill seems fine.

In the not too distant future, I'll proabaly try rewicking with Rayon. I'll likely stick with the unflavored 50mg/ml. except when starting up a fresh Blu.

Overnight while the refilled Blu was laying flat, it did leak a little bit. I pushed the end piece of the pod in and it seemed to go slightly farther in. I'm not sure if that will make a difference. I do suspect that even with rewicking, if I can, that the pods will still have limited life.

My Vladdin (well wife's) arrives today, will be interesting to see how much difference there is.

Looking forward to hearing some opinions on it. I've been thinking about picking up either the Vladdin RE, Minifit, Aspire Breeze 2, or a Voopoo Panda. One or a couple of them. These $1 kits are going to last me a while though---haha!

If you replace the coil, the pods could last a long time. But I haven't tried it. The coils are so tiny and it looks like the leads are just wedged into the terminals... seems like it would be tedious to replace. Minifit might be easier to rebuild.

From what I come up with looking around the Web is that there are 4 flavors of nicotine salt pods available and 11 free base flavors. I have found what the flavors in salt are but can't find them for sale. Certainly looks as if Gold Leaf is free base as the salt one is labeled tobacco.
EDIT: from here: Imperial Tobacco launches ‘myblu’ e-cigarette

I think that I can start talking, I got the refillable version of the Vladdin and bought 4 extra empty pods. I filled one with bananas foster and another with a vanilla tobacco. If I didn't see the bottles I wouldn't know what flavors were in the pods, they both have little to no flavor. Same juice that I'm using in the Blu's and flavor is good. Also the draw is much tighter than the Blu.I wish now that I had bought 40 blu's.
Still early yet, maybe these ceramic coils have a break in period or something.
The Vladdin comes with a pretty nice looking USB cable that also does data, and of coarse not with the Vladdin though.
The deal with the magnets holding the pod into the battery is a nice feature.

Well I finally vaped through one pod (26 hours later) and 19 to go (and 40 more in the mail). Refilled with my ADV Yeti Vape HazeCap 18mg 70VG. Wasn't sure if 70VG is going to be too thick or not, but we'll see. Checked the wick and coil with a x10 eye loupe and they look just fine and has lots of life in them.

Damn the juice color is the same as the Blu Gold Leaf juice. Anyway started vaping and everything seems fine and yes, that is what my ADV tastes like. Vape is a tad cool, but that is fine for me and vapor is fabulous.

Played with MyBlu yesterday by standing it up for long periods, keeping it upside down, and laying it down on the side and no problems in whatever position you keep them. :)

What is the VG ratio of that juice? Daniel seems to say the Vladdin needs 50/50. I ordered some 50/50 juice when I ordered my two Vladdin.
