They are ripping through these and not even discussing most of them. Skipping others.

The 2:00 PM Senate Floor Session seems to be where there is going to be some Activity.

What I see, for example, is AB 11 Committee Hearing Date: 08/25/15. I thought they were being heard tomorrow, as it's listed, but it was up on the screen for that weird session they just showed. Way easier when it was all lumped into one as far as keeping track.

No need to drop them a line. Geoff, the owner of Tasty Vapor is my fellow co-president in NorCal SFATA. He's already neck deep involved in everything on an almost daily basis.

Most of all, I think we need more consumer pressure on shops that are not involved or are in need of education.

This has always been my main concern and primary focus.

Stefan, if you guys need any emergency funds to cover the costs of printing or whatever, I'm sure many of us, geographically challenged supporters, will be more than happy to chip in. Just ask. That's the least we can do.

Count me in, just tell me where to donate please.

Yeah, what's the most useful for this fight for people to donate too? Can consumers donate to SFATA? should we be donating to notblowingsmoke? I mean, if someone can only make one donation, where is the best place to put it?

I've spread donations across this industry for years.
But now is the time focus our efforts on who can help us here in California right now.

Thanks for the good will. This fight is ugly and my feet hurt from pounding the pavement today. I hit every vape shop within 4 cities and most of them were oblivious or had a whatever attitude. These youngins really need to wake up. The owners of one local shop also own Congrevape ( makers of the Doge atty) they'd get hit triple but didn't seem to show much interest, at least to me.
I just don't get it.

This has been my experience as well, having visited all of the vape shops around here.
It is hard to stay motivated sometimes.

Leonardo diCaprio, Johnny Depp and Katherine Heigl won't even notice the price changes. If they are still vaping, that is.

I've contacted Leonardo DiCaprio and Katherine Heigl in the past.
I'm pretty sure they never even heard what I had to say.


I wish someone could contact them directly, instead of through their website.
If they could turn their money and voices towards our cause, it would be extremely impactful.

But I've always thought their press agents forbid them from touching this issue.
Maybe some day soon that could change.

And they just change the rules, limit participation, or switch to a different day.

I believe that they are meeting tomorrow for the Assembly Public Health and Developmental Services Committee.

Which is on calendar for August 25th @ 1:30 in room 4202.

Recap and clarification, as I understand what is happening, which may be incorrect.

Today some of the senate bills, which were in the health committee last week, were heard in appropriations, which we didn't expect there to be any chance of them not passing. The one SB9 being heard on the Senate floor today, is a local tax authorization bill, and therefore doesn't need to go to appropriations, since it won't require funding.

Tomorrow the Assembly versions of the bills will be heard in the assembly health committee, and that is where people are going to voice their opposition.
