So I guess the question is, are we scheduled to attend when this is scheduled to be heard?
When is that chartered bus going up there?
From what I have seen they are leaving so-cal today, in order to be here in plenty of time for tomorrow. I've got too many balls in the air right now to go myself, though I MIGHT get to watch from my computer.

Give me strength. I can't keep up...

I also thought that the tobacco and e-cig hearings were scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
Thank the vapor gods for people like Stefan keeping up with it all.
Doesn't this Entire Process kinda make you Throw Up a little in the back of your Throat?
Yes, except it doesn't stay at the back of my throat.

That has to be a heck of a bus ride. They ought to be pretty fired up by the time they get there.
Looks like the votes on AB-216 was

YES: 34
NO: 2

Bill Text - AB-216 Product sales to minors: vapor products.
They all voted for it and didn't give a rat's bleep about service members.
What the Fluck?

Did they just Jump Back to Item Number 123?
Just tuned in and trying to figure out what they're doing. They seem to be doing the same.

Todays Agenda can be seen here...

And they are going to do the Regular Session before they do the Extraordinary Sessions.

I thought we were about done with the Regular Session. But it Doesn't look like we are. Because we are on Item Number 178.

For about 30 seconds I thought they knew what they were doing. 2nd e. session is now over? Going to look at your link now.

The Regular Session is over.

Now they do the 1st Extraordinary Session.

Then they do the 2nd Extraordinary Session. Which is what I have been Patiently waiting to Hear.

Sorry, had to run an errand and then go to dinner with my parents on their way back from Reno.

If they did the same as the appropriations committee they did the extraordinary session stuff first.

I kind of thought it was illegal to go out of order from the "official" agenda, but what do I know?

24600.
(a) It is unlawful for a person to sell or otherwise furnish any device intended to deliver a nonnicotine product in a vapor state, to be directly inhaled by the user, to a person under 21 years of age.

So... the devices will be 18/21 or older depending on which bill is passed? Sorry kids, smoke 'em if you got 'em.

Here is the Media Archive page for the Senate.

Media Archive | senate.ca.gov

If you click on "Watch" for the 8/24/15 Senate Floor Session and then go to the 2:58:38 mark, it looks like they just Blew Thru the Extraordinary Sessions. And the Senate Floor will re-convene on Thursday 27Th at 9:00 am.

Not sure what Exactly this Means?
