Remember this same discussion many months ago, Leaford? You are right, of course. We can play word games all day, but these are established by sellers as e-cigarettes, etc. Even that rejected FDA submission from E-Cig.com was for e-cigarettes, e-cigars, e-pipes, etc.
My suggestion is that for official correspondence with health and regulatory agencies, we refer to them as personal vaporizers, "popularly known as e-cigarettes". We rise above the fray. The more scientific sounding the term, the better the impression. Besides, VAPORIZERS are legal. E-cigarettes, the FDA now says to E-Cig, are not. We better find a different road to travel if we expect this practice to have a future.
We will not replace "e-cigarette" as the Google search term of preference, however. Too late. Way too late.
