You're right. They are fun. Now where did you get those again?

I got alot from this guy Iffy, others I found elsewhere on ECF. Um I heard you could type in specific kinds on google

I can see it now … giving Uncle a run for the money with the smileys.
Nah Uncle is the Champ of smiley's I just play.

YES - "Celticluvr" is getting quite good . . .

However, they are not showing up as images for "Me" unless I click on the "Red X": Click Image for larger version" then they will open in another smaller window . . . Just Sayin' . . .

@ "RAVEN" - Just as an FYI: I had those "Cortisone" shots a number of years ago for the "Degenerative Arthritis" I was experiencing at the time in "My" knees . . . AND - While where they had to put the needle (which was behind the knee cap) was extremely painful to say the least, in the end they did help "Me" - of course "YMMV", however I really do hope they help "You" too . . .

Holy crap Uncle! Are you trying to scare her out of it? If they shoot it in the joint, yes it's going to hurt but just for a short time. I got mine in the muscle in my shoulder and it didn't hurt at all and I'm a baby when it comes to needles. And yes, if there is no reaction it will be worth the pain. ;)

Happy Birthday Rave! I hope you're having a wonderful, comfortable day. I thought you might like a nice raven video.

Hi everyone! I am still lurking around, I guess I'm quite uninspired to post anything. There isn't much going on for me to share, but if anything interesting happens, I will be sure to write about it! :)

Loved the vid. Both birds look so graceful in slow mo.

Aww, you know how guys are about feeling bad or being sick.....(ducks) :D

When something hurts a lot for a long time, most people are willing to do just about anything to get it to ease up. I am sending my best wishes that the injection will do exactly that for rave.

Yes, I know. Big babies. :p

I'm hoping for the best also and hoping they start with a mild dose just in case.

Q, those birds were amazing! I particularly liked the slo mo against the sky. So serene. Footage of that could be my meditation tape!

Uncle, I'm seeing Celtic's smileys just fine. I wonder why you aren't.

Rave, all the best wishes for the cortisone shot doing what it's supposed to do and not hurting too much. Can they give you something to numb the area, like novocaine, before doing it, if it's supposed to be painful? If they did that to me, they'd probably have to anesthetize me.

NOPE - I just respect "Rave" enough to let her know first hand what it can be like and not let it be a surprise for her . . .

I especially hate needles of any kind, so much so I have to go to "My" Doctor's office every 2 weeks for a shot . . .

I hope the cortisone shot works for you. I had them, years ago, for "tennis elbow". Yes they hurt a bit, but were more than worth it for me. Hope it works for you.

    SO DITTO ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

Now - As for some images not showing up for "Me", could be a number of reasons, especially if they are from "Sherv net" they are blocked from showing up since there is something strange attached to them also - so I do not use them . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Ya know that how it feels when ya get a shot in the hiney. It's like the Drs tally how many they can stick in one shot. I don't like .... shots, any other and I don't care. Maybe it's because i cannot see what they are doing back there.:facepalm::laugh:

I didn't think they did .... shots anymore. The last one I had, so long ago I can't remember, was just below my waist line. But a needle is a needle. I don't care where it's going...I'm going to faint if I see it.

I don't even know what poison ivy looks like so I guess I've been lucky.

You're first sentence looks like you are still feeling the effects of that shot.

    WELL - Guess What . . .

Last shot I got the nurse came in and I started rolling up my sleeve. She said, "the Dr. likes these in the buttock". I told her to give the Dr. his anywhere he wants it and kept rolling up my sleeve.

    I HAVE NO CHOICE - In The Matter . . .

    MooningJeansLg.gif

THANKFULLY - ALthough the medication is drawn with a larger needle - It is a much smaller gage needle going in . . . :D

EDIT: BTW - Talk About Something Being A "PITA" - Understatement . . .
