Sitting down, facing forward.
How are the dogs doing, Lizzie? Our snow cover was about 100% when you asked, but is now down to just the deep shadow areas, a few days of 50-60 with lots of sun will do that.

Nice project, Cindy. Let's see the completed photos! We had all those "disappearing" fixtures in the house my parents built back in 1957. I still like them, but something other than chrome would be better (no finger prints). Caulking is an acquired skill. I've found it's better to "push" the new caulk bead rather than "pull" it as it's applied.

I've been busy with everyday things and don't get on the PC as much as I was doing. I bought an IP camera to monitor the front yard because of ...... "off roading" through our, and three or four neighbors, front lawns. The first camera I got was OK, Loftek Nexus, but it developed problems and after a month of trying to get support from Loftek, with not even an acknowledgment, I opened a ticket with Amazon and they agreed to take it back (Thank you Amazon). I just put up another camera, Grandstream, with far better resolution, better night vision and better software. Now it's a trick of balancing the sensitivity of the motion detection to catch real events versus leaves blowing by. The Grandstream was more expensive, but well worth the price difference for 1080p resolution. I just hope the support is better than Loftek, it couldn't be worse so....

Terry, if you want to try shooting something that is less expensive to shoot than a .22, get a break action .22 pellet rifle. The way it works is a piston compresses air in a cylinder under the barrel to fire the pellet. The thing that makes it a challenge is the recoil is very different than that of a powder fired gun. The piston pushes back, like regular recoil, but then when the piston hits its end of travel, the recoil reverses and actually recoils forward. Then there is the torque factor caused by the spring that powers the piston decompressing very quickly which has a tendency to make the gun rotate. You don't hold the gun in a "vice grip" like a regular rifle, but rest it firmly against the shoulder and cup the forestock with your offhand. With a little practice, and a scope, I can get 1" groups at 70 yards, but it takes a lot of practice and maintaining the exact same "hold" for every shot.

If you missed "Sunday Morning", Bill Geist did a piece of the Museum of Bad Art. If I did any art, it wouldn't even qualify for that place!

As far a vaping goes, I'm enjoying my Vamo(s), a VTR and a 134. I'm waiting for a Cool Fire 2, have to have a grenade to go with my mini-gun. I use Protanks and iClear30's on the 510 mods and the battery life on an 18650 is great! But even with all of that I still use my good old 78mm autos with CE3s every day when my hands are busy, nothing can beat them for convenience. I do rebuild the Protanks and CE3s, handy since SI discontinued the CE3, but haven't tried rebuilding an iClear, yet. Those will probably get converted to single coils for simplicity. I still use Spinners and X2s as well, with T3s that I also rebuild (I'm cheap!).

Hi Awsum and all others!

It is spring time here so busy, busy, busy!

Here is the pond I have been working on.

Cindy - I love home improvement. Keep up the good work and we need more photos as you go along.

Hubby and I love 4-wheeling, the outdoors, horses obviously. There is probably lots to talk about:)

Sassy and Willie are doing great, Awsum. They are staying in the yard when we open the gate to drive in and out. They are getting along with Rusty and Penny. Penny seems to like the new dogs. Rusty has stopped marching around stiff legged and showing he is Mr. Macho. The new dogs are getting along fine with the horses and goats. Nice!!!

We went to look at horse shelters at my favorite place in Fallon. It looks like about $1600 plus we have to buy our own plywood but the guy wasn't there so maybe a better deal can be had. We can do cheaper in wood but metal poles and rails can't be chewed. The metal roof comes with it. It comes with anchors. It matches all our current rails for the round pen and the current horse pen. That means it will looks nicely cohesive out there. They will also deliver the shelters to our house. That is worth something to me as well. He also designs for safety so there aren't parts that will catch the horses and cut them.

I have to go in the middle of the week and corner the guy on price.

Vaping - I still love SI 555 and RY4 but I do DIY mostly now. The SI cig-a-likes are great for when I am out and about. I switched to Provaris and carto tanks for every day use.

I'm excellent at bad art:)

My canvass is my yard, I think. The lady that brought th dogs kept saying how nice our place is. I'm pretty proud of what we have accomplished and how nice it looks.

I'm getting a grenade too soon. For hands free while I'm working I've got two eRolls. Lightest and most ciglike I've found for holding with my teeth and lips. I've given most of my 808 stuff away but I've still got a few 78 autos I fire up once in a while.

Don't have much internet time lately with my Bride being so sick but she seems to be winning the battle so far. I read here a lot more than I post and usually don't post unless I have something I think may help someone. I'll try to stop around more when they get the forum running right again. It's too hard to find the first unread posts.

That brought back memories. I had a motion sensor device that would turn on a flood light and on windy days that light was going on and off all day and night. It's a shame you had to spend big bucks to catch these hooligans.

Learned something new. I've never heard of a break action .22 pellet rifle. I don't have a .22 anymore. I had a Henry rifle that looked exactly like a Winchester and loved it. It had no recoil at all so I would probably stick with regular .22 even though the bullets are hard to find these days, at least here they are. I won a trophy in a .22 pistol competition but I've forgotten what brand I was using. It was my brothers gun. I just have a Kel-tec .380 now for conceal carry and it isn't a very good target gun. BF has several bigger guns that hopefully we will get to shoot so we can try out that new target I got him.

We have a Kel-tec PF-9. It isn't much of target shooting pistol, that is for sure. It is excellent for concealment.

My favorite mod...that's a tough one. My favorite tube mod would be my Provari with a Penelope RBA using German Silica and Kanthal wire wrapped to around 2.5 ohms and my favorite all day vape is my DIY strawberry. I use Flavor West but Rave turned me on to Flavor Art and it is more like a fresh picked strawberry where the Flavor West is more like a strawberry candy so I now have 2 different strawberry flavors that I love.

My favorite wood mod is the Destroyer VV with a recessed tank hole. Not many of my tanks fit it but the new Aspire Vivi tanks is what I'm using now.

I haven't used a cigalike since I first started vaping. They just don't have enough power and the battery life sucks. I have several mods in rotation and most use Phiniac carto tanks or RBAs and most are filled with strawberry. :)

I had a Ruger .357 magnum that I love to target shoot with but since I don't target shoot much anymore and the Ruger was too heavy to carry, I decided on the Kel-tek. I have the P3AT which is an older model now but looks alot like yours. I wish I had that one now because 9mm is easier to find than .380. I don't care that I can't hit squat with it at target range distances. I would only need it for close up. The first round has a shotgun pellet bullet in it followed by hollow points so I can't miss.

I think I told you that I was working on an Orca drawing. Well I screwed it up right at the end, it's a fail. I've been trying to save it but where I screwed up looks like crap even though it looks better than it did but not good enough to post so I'll be moving on to something else. It was so cool and I'm really bummed about it. Live and learn. This learning experience was "pay more attention to the photo".

Terry, if you told us you were working on an orca, I missed it. I'm so sorry it didn't turn out the way you hoped. What will you do next?

I haven't decided yet. I have a small set of Verithin colored pencils so I might try something in color but maybe not. I'm still a little hesitant about trying color.

This is the photo I was working on.
