Except the IRS doesn't pass away from lack of funds
Good morning, Voltpeeps.
I've been out to survey the yard and it is a lovely, cloudy day. It rained about a quarter of an inch yesterday. We got lucky. The big chunk of rain clouds came right over us. Looked like Carson City and Reno didn't get any rain at all.
We were working on installing the shade cover yesterday. We [meaning Hubby] leveled the area. We carried the last of the metal framework sections into the backyard. Then, we figured out that the side sections were made improperly. Dang!!!!!
Hubby and I were thinking about how hard it would be to get the section back to Fallon to get it fixed. It is ten feet tall and ten feet wide so we would have to try to tie it upright in the back of the Chevy long bed. That would be easier said than done. Then, Hubby came up with a plan. We call the guy and just get two pieces of pipe that are the right length and Hubby welds them into the metal frame work himself. Brilliant!
Of course, this does delay getting the shade cover up but what can you do?
I've been putting off buying the 2x6 wood for the cross beams until the frame is up. However, next weekend is Memorial Day weekend already. That means I will want to pick up the supplies this week so we don't have to brave the home improvement zoo on a holiday.
Evie, that is such a cute darling little baby. I hope she is doing well.
