I had no idea that obituary bookmarks were 'a thing'. I do like it. Far better than just a piece of paper stuck somewhere. Having it laminated is nice and more keep-able.

I also came across the news article from when my birth parents died. Maybe I should get that laminated. And those love letters. Heck. I should just laminate everything that was under there. ;)

Qew!!! Those pies are magnificent! Now I have to try and make the 2nd pic down -- that crust work! And the apple rose pie! That's almost too pretty to eat. Thanks! :D

Chooch... I told Doug the other day that if it weren't for me, he'd still have the first 'sofa' we had. (It was NOT a sofa... it was an old seat out of a van that he found in an alley.:lol::lol:) He denied that that's how it would be. He said surely he would have found another one eventually.

Angel - so sorry for what you're going through with the baby too. Have you made any decisions on what to do? I totally get where you're coming from, probably all of us do, and I don't think you're having selfish thoughts at all. My sister ended up with guardianship and later an adoption of her granddaughter and she's starting all over. I'm not sure I could. Hugzzzz to you too!
Thanks Ms.C...yes, I have made up my mind, and really it was the only choice I could make...I'm going to go forward with trying to get guardianship...this might be my last "free" weekend for a while. Next week my boss is going to try to get one last continuance for my son so we can get the guardianship set up before he has to go in (will be better if we can do it with the father) but either way we will proceed with it. Have already started on getting a room ready for her...my son found the crib in the attic and is getting it set up. I just have to get a new mattress for it....still not sure if I'm ready for this, but I have a lot of support...the bf is being very understanding, even my ex and his gf are offering to help out, so hopefully between all of us we can do this....now to just hope that the courts do the right thing to protect that child! Any prayers would be appreciated!
