Just got mine, blue anodized, immaculate condition, everything straight and true, finish is perfect. So far (few days) no anomalies with the operation, no changing wattage, fires right up from sleep. vaping with an Igo L, 1.2-ohms, cotton wick at 15 watts and this thing performs as good or better than a lot of my mech mods. Great value for 70 bucks.

Quick question on my Cloudpor Chana/Cana mod. I bought mine from 101Vapes, I was removing my tugboat cover from the dripper and pulled out the 510 connection and the wire was still attached. I pushed the 510 connection back into it and covered it with a towel and lightly tapped it back in.
Now it won't fire and says shorted... I've never broken a mod and I'm so missing my sweet little mod :(
Is there anything I can do to fix it?
I emailed 101 Vape to see if they might help. I'm sure they won't since it's almost 2 months old and I tried to fix it by pushing it I never opened the part where the chip is...
I miss my girlie :(

Update:

Apparently my Cloupor mod does exhibit some of the known issues. I set it to 14 watts and fired it a few times and it changed to 13.9 watts, even with the buttons locked. Seems to hold at 15 watts and above. Also, I was walking through the kitchen last night (after midnight) and the kitchen was glowing blue. The display had turned itself on even though I had not used the mod for hours, and was off when I left it.

Are all the Hana clones in the market a Cloupor ? Sorry if that seems like a silly question. I have not been following the evolution of the 30 Watt box mods.

The reason i ask is that focalecig has a group buy for $ 43 and i was wondering if it's the same, and if not does anyone know what it is.
There are the ones that Fasttech sells that are made by Hotcig and there is one made by Hcigar and perhaps others.

Yeah , i figured it would eventually show it's quirks , my biggest issue with the Cloupor is that it really has no dedicated on/off switch . Don't know if the real ones exhibit turning on/off but imo that's just unacceptable. Even when not around any electronics and outside it turns itself on lol.

The other thing is battery drain , because of this turning on / off it's not nearly as efficient as it could be but it is $70.00 bucks.

My 35 watt iPV has superior battery longevity .

The Evolve DNA30 doesn't turn off either. But it also doesn't turn on randomly or have any of the other quirks. The battery life and power output is also much better.

But like you stated for $70 and 12 to 15 watt vaping it's hard to beat.

Yup, sometimes you got to live with the quirks lol, i still use mine all the time . I would really love it a lot more if it had a five click turn on/off feature.

I got email from Cloudpor today!

Pls check the attached pic.
U sure the line was not broken?

If the answer is yes,Pls check the internal of the 510 connection .
There is a white rubber o-ring(pic attached).
When the white rubber o-ring was broken,it will show "shorted"
U just need to change a new o-ring.

Pls contact the retailer and ask him to get it from his sales rep.

Thanks for your purchse.

Warm regards,
Fiona

Ok so I took my Cloudpor apart... Lots of glue and resin inside mine couldn't tell what was going on. I put the shim back on the black grounding screw, put a battery in it said check atomizer... It was saying shorted before... Screwed my atty back on fired it with safety glasses (readers) on...
Guess what it fired!! Whoop!! I'm back to my great little girlie mod :)
I had since bought a used one from my nephew... Oh well, now I have a Cana for my KY Tugboat :)

Here's the inside of my Cana

Congrats, and I'm more impressed that you got that electronics cover off more than anything. I started to think about it once and totally threw in the towel as it wouldn't budge lol

Can anyone tell me how the 510 connector is held in on the DNA30? Pressed, threaded? I keep getting "Check Atomizer" and Ohm and voltage readouts are both 0.0Ω/0.0V on the display. I want to replace the 510 but don't want to tear up the enclosure getting it out.

It is press fitted.
