i see your point! but i use my index and middle finger. the thumb would really bother me. i get the indents, too.
i have 3 sigelei 50w, and while the button is flat, for some reason, i think i have to squeeze it tighter.
I never did understand the small bb fire button of the Cloupor 30 watt or the Hana mod. I find it more comfortable to use the tip of the pad of my index finger, rather than the fleshy part of the pad.
I use the side of my thumb on the bone of the first joint. It's much more comfortable for me as long as I don't get it in the crease of the bend...that hurts.
I switch fingers so I have matching indents in each of them. I like to be uniform with my indents.
Can anyone tell me how I know what version of Cloudpor DNA30 I got? No logo, updated 510 pin, ordered from 101vapes 3 weeks ago.
I'm not sure, but I *think* you have the most up to date version? My unit is from 101 as well, updated 510 pin, no issues firing from sleep, etc.
Just crossed 4 months of everyday use on my Round 1 v1...
I'm right at the 4 month mark myself, using it daily. Maybe I'm just lucky, but at this point, I'd say it was a great purchase, despite it having most of the first issue quirks......Intermittent double-click to wake from sleep, fat 510 pin, No green light when charged, etc. None of these things sway me from thinking it was $70 well spent.

Interestingly enough, my v1 from 101 has ALL the original quirks except it does have the green light when fully charged.
They are a good vendor you have the latest version. I did a lot of googling for a few pic differences like the 510 connection a while back. I had the latest version when I ordered there a few months ago.

Still chugging along, no problem with one of them. The other bit the dust, the fire button kipped out.
still Vaping on mine as well at a constant 17.5 watts with a 1.3 single coil on my Helios in-between tokes off my Sig

Mine has got to where the display just turns on every 10 minutes or so just sitting there not even in use. Seems like it vapes a little weaker too.
just a thought, try tightening your topper a bit; might help.
