Anyone using non-contact coils and if so, how do you fit them in there?

It can make a huge difference. My cheap MM has a resistance of 1.8ohm.
It does make a difference. You first have to determine the internal resistance of your DMM. Put your setting to ohms, touch leads together and take note of that measurement. Then measure your rta. Whatever that reading is, Subtract the resistance of your DMM to give you the correct resistance. All meters hav

I have a cheap one.... Need a new one, it really only good for checking for shorts and the presence of voltage, which is all its original purpose was years ago when I bought it....
It jumps too much when checking internal resistance, it finally settled on 0.7 which means I was running a 0.2 build on a purple efest....
Checked my RTA again, came in t 2.0, so I have a 1.3 ohm build right now, where I expected it to be....

Just got this tank last week and I love it so far but I kept getting a little gurgle out of one side so I'm just doing a whole new build. Anybody else having issues with either the post screws or the cheap flimsy allen key that came with the tank?? Last night it got stuck on one of the post screws and it took like 15minutes to get it off. Now either most of the screws or the allen key is like stripped making it very difficult/not possible to tighten the screws down. Anybody have a place to get, or size of a replacement allen key?

@tjmmotox U can go to amazon and order a .9mm allen driver for less than 4 bucks shipped.
Thank you for the size! I'll just go to a hardware shop tomorrow and pick one up, and look for replacement post screws as well just in case, at the moment I'm gonna try and use a spare one from my goblin, seems to fit okay.

Don't know if anyone has answered this as I'm a few pages behind.

The stock screws are 3mm in length so using 4mm will leave you with 1mm on top with them fully tightened down. I'm using replacement M2 x 4mm Cup Point grub screws made from A2 Stainless Steel and they work perfectly.
You might have a hard time finding one that small at a local hardware store. Same goes for the grub screws. Pretty sure harbor freight will have a precision set that contains a .9mm for around 10 bucks. If not you will likely have to check your hobby shop stores as this is a common size used for remote helicopters.

I was able to get a 40-something piece precision hex and scredriver bit set that included the .09mm piece from Walmart for around $6. Works a charm for the Cthulhu and other vaping gear too.

Just got my Cthulhu Today :) I put 2 spaced 2mm 6 wrap 24 gauge coils in it, it meters out at .2.
It Wicks like a dream and Flavour is on point :) To be honest I never thought there would be an RTA that would work good at .2, I was wrong :) No need for dippers any more :)

Found the RTA style "tootle puffing" sweet spot for me. 2 mm, 30 AWG Ni 200 ,15 wraps, 0.17 ohm, 32.5 watts. It's not the warm, full, wet vape of a bigger build but for those sort of mindless puffing away and enjoying every minute of it times, it hits the spot lol.

Anyone have any tips on fixing a leak from the 510 pin?
Gotta grab a picture, or host it somewhere, says my camera takes too big of a picture....

Well, sounds like garden variety leak into the bottom end which is usually caused by an air leak in the top end. Is something more going on?

Seems like it is fixed.... Just freaked out a bit I guess.... Took the battery out last night to charge it and the 510 pin was a bit leaky.... Cleaned everything up and let it sit.... Woke up this morning and checked everything out, it was still leaking a bit.... But it hasn't done it again since the first posting here....

Thinking it was a condensation issue last night and it getting down into the chamber and somehow down into the 510 pin.... I'll keep checking on it throughout the day, though.

Thinking either that, or the liquid that buids up under the drip tip went back down into the chamber....
