I'm at 18 mgs so I'll need more! Maybe it's time to decrease but I'm only at the 6 month mark of being analog free
I'm a bit over 3 years into this and still at 14-15mg. Plan you nic stockpile at your current usage, not based on some hypothetical decrease that you may or may not be comfortable with.

You are making it seem far more difficult than it actually is.

People fear what they dont understand.

I see you havent bothered to really see what mixing entails.

Its much easier than you think.

Its litterally like mixing a damn cocktail.

Its not chemistry, its cooking for god's sake!

Its also the single most important element to preparing for vapocalypse.

Much more so than buying batteries or mods which will always be available.

I don't know where you got that impression, I mentioned several times above that I mix my own liquid.
I started mixing within a month of taking up vaping.

Then why are you implying its difficult?
DIY juice is simple.
The nic base is available cheap right now, with basically no restrictions.
Now is the time to learn if you want to be prepared.

Retail e juice is by far the highest profit margin of any vaping product.
Its a cash cow.
Feed it if you like.

Or save by DIY, and use that extra money to stock up on everything else.

Work smarter not harder.

I never said it was difficult.
As you corectly said, it's like mixing a cocktail.

A lot of people don't get into mixing because they are under the (false) impression that it is difficult.

To those people, I was saying 'buy some nicotine now and worry about that later'.

Then how would you have them prepare?
Buying mods and atomizers?

No, I would (and did) advise them to buy some nicotine.
If nothing happens, they're out $50.

If the vapocalypse happens, they can come on the forum and say 'hey guys, how do I use this nicotine to make juice?'

Not everyone has the inclination to diy right now, but if they suddenly can't get liquid, they will be really glad they stashed that liter of nic base.

1. Buying a jug of nic and NOT learning to DIY is your advice for prepping?
Lmao.
Thats not being prepared.

2. Waste $50? If you use it all youll save about $600 on juice.
Which pretty much drives my point home.

Its the most important part of prepping, not buying gear that will always be available. (Which was my original statement)

No.
I expect that everyone who already makes their own liquid has already stocked up on nicotine.
I am trying to appeal to those people who don't currently make their own liquid for whatever reason.

What I am saying is, even if you don't mix your own juice, and don't really have any inclination to mix your own juice, buy some nicotine and put it in your freezer anyway, just in case.

There may come a time when you have no choice but to mix your own liquid or start smoking again.

Why is that so difficult to understand?

I'm not quite sure why you're being so antagonistic. You can buy nic, like I have, and not get into DIY yet, like I haven't. I still have a bunch of premade juice to use up. I also don't have space or the inclination right now to delve into DIY. However, I have the nic, and some VG. Just as mods and atomizers will likely be available for the foreseeable future, pg, vg, flavors, etc. will always be available. The info will also always be available.

So, to make the point again, even if you're not ready to start doing DIY(even though it is easy to do) you can still buy nic and store it. Not buying nic because you're not ready, or interested, to start mixing your own liquids would be worse than buying it and not using it for a long time.

Or there are people like me who quit smoking 6 months ago. And found out about DIY juice 2 months ago, who are now scrambling to stock up on nic
I consider myself a semi intelligent person , but it never even dawned on me to make my own Ejuice, until I came here

If the person is not interested in diy right now then yes, buy some nic, stick it in the freezer and forget about it.
They may end up needing it one day, and will beglad they bought it when they had the chance.

Of course I do, and I can't fathom why you didn't get that from what I posted.

Don't you agree that the most important part of diy is having some nicotine base?

Because when I originally posted it, you replied that you disagreed.

Here:

I'm going to disagree ever so slightly with this.
I think it is important to learn to mix your own liquid, but it's not absolutely necessary to do so in order to be prepared.

Many people don't want to bother with mixing liquid, but that would change pretty fast if manufactured liquid became unavailable or extremely expensive.

The only really important thing that you have to do RIGHT NOW is buy some nicotine and stash it in your freezer.

If the time comes that you need to use it, you'll be only too willing to learn how to mix it :)

Buying nic and not knowing how it isnt being prepared.
(See my original post).

It seems you are contradicting yourself just to argue.

Once again, apologies for going off topic, but do you guys know who has the most tasteLESS nic? I have heard certain people say that some nic's have a peppery flavor to them I am looking for something that has no flavor. Or is flavorless the standard?

Probably Nude Nicotine, but it's also the most expensive.
There may be others that most don't find a peppery taste with and that are less expensive.

No, I'm just arguing that buying nic without knowing how to use it IS still being prepared.

After all, it's no more difficult than mixing a cocktail, right?
