I didn't smoke anything in my teen years. Began smoking both when in college. I was a product of the late 60's and early 70's. I was never a heavy user of the other stuff, just "a bit" like other folks might drink a glass or two of wine to relax at night. Forced to abstain when employment threatened unanounced blood tests to ensure you weren't a user. Now that I'm retired, I'm curious to partake again, as I'm not a fan of alcohol.I lost my appreciation for the other stuff when I was sixteen, unfortunately.

Which part of the government? Just curious.Anti vaping ads about to spring up from the gov't. Just saw one of the posters. Total lies. But it was predictable. Nothing the gov't does is based in truth.
Didn't catch it Bad. Just heard the ads are beginning today. Not sure what kind of ads. Just saw a poster listing all the dangers of vaping. Brown mouth and mouth cancer to name just a couple.Which part of the government? Just curious.
There will be ads for both and yes it's on purpose so they can conflate the two habits as being equally dangerous. They always have so no reason to think the ads wont continue the dishonesty.I only saw cigarette ones there, unless they're conflating the issues yet again.
Anyway, growing up, EVERYbody knew how stupid the anti-drug commercials were. Now that my generation is coming into power, look what's happening with that. So kids and people will eventually see through such idiotic lies.
Requires dough. Doesn't seem to be enuf of that on our side. Beyond that I agree. Our side needs vaping ads, so that they understand the benefits. That approach has been used by the thing that is not to be named to get the public to understand how it has helped people medically.
Rossum said:I do not think that shops get "shut down" for the first violation. My impression is the first violation results in a warning letter, and the second in a relatively small fine. Are you aware of any stores that have been shut down due to selling tobacco products to minors?

Not to mention that most e liquids and flavorings don't contain diacetyl anymore.Ad put out by FDA, which will not approve any e-juice containing diacetyl.
"Do Juul pods contain diacetyl?
(Juul does not use diacetyl in its liquid, and, in tests, the company has found no measurable amounts of diacetyl in the vapor emitted by its devices.) ... Juul's e-cigarette liquid contains only five: glycerol, propylene glycol, nicotine, benzoic acid, and food-grade flavoring."
