Sadly, vape money can't compete with anti-vape money.

Whatever happened to Ron Johnson. He was a strong vaping advocate who has gone to radio silence the last 1-2 years.Don't need to Out Bid them.
Just enough to get a Favorable Amendment or Two from a Sympathetic Senator in something like a T21 Bill would be nice.

I think he said this is his last term so he can do less than not much now.Johnson won a Tight race against Finigold.
And for a Senator, that means you Don't have to do much for 3 or 4 Years but quietly raise Money for your Next Reelection.
Don't forget the Big Pharma money/lobbyists, too.You add tobacco money to the self-righteous nannies of ANTZ like groups and then factor in idea that regulators gotta regulate, you then have an an irresistible force.

I hear they want RFID chips in the pods and batteries, coded at time of sale with the end users ID. If a minor is found with it, the RFID is scanned, and the purchaser fined/jailed.Well here's an interesting story

"As Juul explores ever-more creative means by which to curb what government officials refer to as an “epidemic” of teen vaping, one of its latest stabs at that undertaking involves collecting personally identifying data to verify that a user is legally allowed to use its products."
"Citing Juul’s Dan Thomson, a managing director of the company’s UK operation, the Financial Timesreported Sunday that the device requires “stringent age verification checks that included facial recognition and two-step background check with third-party databases.”

Personally, I would start harvesting them from power-tool packs. Spec sheets for some packs will even tell you exactly what kind of cells are in 'em. Here's an example:Again I’ll mention batteries. It’s hard enough to get batteries for older mods but what happens when the government or manufacturer will no longer sell individual batteries to non commercial entities.

I'm finding this difficult to believe for the immediate to intermediate future. There are many other markets using these batteries besides us. Flashlight enthusiasts, power tool operators, bicyclists, etc. The mods themselves will most likely be the first to be banned in favor of mods that use unremoveable (Li-Po) batteries.Again I’ll mention batteries. It’s already happening on one vendors site. They will not sell LG batteries in accordance with LGs requirement that individuals will need to submit government documentation that the batteries are needed for commercial use only. That’s my biggest fear.

The vendor you mentioned above most likely got a warning letter like the one below and made a business decision to no long carry LG batteries. Their loss.

We basically had one lobbyist that CASAA had.
