I'm not sure about propane, but I'll say this about a generator fueled on NG: You will never be able to start it with recoil/rope; it simply needs way too much RPM before it will fire.

So either electric start, or keep a can of some "starter spray" handy.

I'm thinking the same would be true with propane.

OMG, my wife just saw this news article and asked for my thoughts.

Children's Minnesota confirms 4 severe lung injury cases linked to vaping

Headline reads:
"MINNEAPOLIS — Children's Minnesota is confirming four cases of severe lung injury linked to vaping by teenagers, marking the first time cases have been identified in Minnesota."

Buried in the details are that :censored: was involved. But the majority of the article is slanted at vaping in general being dangerous.

I almost blew my cork!!!!!

This is nothing more than kids getting high off of street drugs cut with god knows what, and then getting sick.
But it is being "spun" to be all about vaping.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

And this:

22 people have been hospitalized with vaping-linked breathing problems. Doctors don't know why.

from it:

"His brother, Patrick DeGrave, said that Nelson bought his vape cartridge off the street, not from a reputable shop.

"People will buy them from the states where it is legal and they'll bring them back to states such as Wisconsin where it's not legal," DeGrave said.

"You don't know if you're buying something from a middle man that picked it up from a dispensary or if you're buying it from somebody who has tampered with it and made their own mixture," he said."

Can't see any need to buy ejuice off the street...

And this! Ban tacos!!

Man dies after taking part in taco-eating contest in Fresno

You might just as well blame straws when people use them to put stuff up their nose.

Most of the people who read the article probably took it as intended. Wish I could say that I would have seen through it if I wasn't a vaper, but I'm not sure I would have.

I've posted this cartoon pic only once or twice, so I just have to post it again. I'll probably end up posting the rabbit pic again (for the hundredth time) too at some point, even though I somehow kept myself from doing so the last 5 or so times somebody said the magic phrase 'rabbit hole'..

You must have missed some pages in this thread, Mike. Old news that was reported here a few days ago.
Naw, I saw it. It just didnt actually piss me off to this extent until my own wife started questioning our vaping because of reading this BS. We both quit smoking using vape about 7 years ago, and this crapola even reeled her in....... I mean, ME, the guy who is like #5 in all of ECF for successful vape co-op transactions. She seen and heard my journey first hand, and this malarkey got her questioning it!!!

My wife, a never-smoker/vaper asked me about it too.
I told her: "I'm virtually certain these kids were vaping street drugs of some sort."
    Her response: "That makes sense."

    I think I'll keep her. :)

She remembers the stinky smoker she married and is grateful I shifted to vaping.
Exactly. Mine also remembers me waking up hacking every morning, which ended within a couple of weeks of the switch.

OK, I haven't read the whole complaint yet, but... I think whoever wrote this stuck their foot in it at the bottom of page 3:

Finally, only three months later, in June 2019, FDA stunned the industry by asking a district court to grossly accelerate the PMTA deadline by twenty-seven months to May 11, 2020, for all vapor products.

I'm sorry, but that's utterly misleading and judges/courts don't like to be mislead. The FDA didn't ask a court to grossly accelerate the deadline, the court demanded that they do so after said court determined that the FDA's original four year delay from August of 2018 to 2022 was never proper to begin with.

I wish the VTA luck with this, but I think their chances aren't that great.
