I dont say alot but so thankful to have such a group that does get whats really going on and how many are going to be crushed by all this. Im ready for it,thanks to this group but im still so angry to see it all unfold.

I currently think Trump is our only hope atm, and given his recent comments, it certainly doesn't look good. Plus he has bigger things on his mind.

But seems awfully coincidental that after he announced flavor ban, the whole impeachment thing came up. My wish is Pub members of congress (who are either neutral or supportive toward vaping) make it clear to him that he has fallen for (leftist) fake news by going with flavor ban, and that he would be wise to listen to the millions of us vapers before solidifying his stance.

I don't think Trump alone nor Trump and whatever amount of Pubs could do much, other than counter the false narrative that nic vaping (especially flavors) are responsible for any recent deaths. And countering that would actually be significant, but alas, I doubt Trump is even considering this. Ideally though, the regulations of FDA would be rolled back in some fashion. Seemed a year or two ago, there was reason to be hopeful of this, but not so much anymore.

Given what FDA has put out recently and what states are up to, and what many national members of congress are calling forth, I honestly don't see what petitions and CTAs are expected to do. FDA is clearly moving in direction to remove 95+ percent from the market, and many politicians are up for outright ban.

I'm pretty sure you all know where I stand on the forthcoming situation, so I'm not worried really, but also growing increasingly apathetic with desire to fight back via traditional means. I truly think unless Trump changes course, there's no real reason to be hopeful for a legal market for vaping going forward. Perhaps battles in the court will help.

In many ways the black market is reason to be hopeful, but the toll it will take on the industry is certainly going to leave a bunch of vapers feeling hopeless for at least a few months.

I wrote to my senators and my congress critter. Only Kamala Harris replied--she wrote:
"Thank you for contacting me to voice your concerns about the workings of our government and the state of our nation. The importance of civic involvement cannot be overstated, and it is an honor to serve as your United States Senator. I have heard your concerns, and my legislative work will continue to be guided by the needs of constituents like you..." And so on. Not a word about what I wrote to her.

Oh i dont like either,not even a little but they are still hanging around doing pretty much nothing i can see and i knew he get on this subject. Been waiting and believing he WILL ban some at least but i think he will ban it all. Guess he may surprise me but i seriously doubt that.

A few years ago CTA's made sense to me. On local politics, they for sure make sense. But for national politics, with Trump (or any Pub POTUS candidate, going forward) being on the side of the false narrative, then I think CTA's are seemingly a waste of time. Though, I am glad there are people, such as yourself, who care enough to at least try to remind sane politicians that the path they are currently choosing will actually make it exponentially more harmful for all the teen vapers that will continue vaping. And for the new teen vapers who will be arriving on the vaping market soon. In many ways, the path they are choosing is making teen vaping cooler. For as long as a de facto ban is in place, that's how long teen vaping will be seen as cool. I kinda feel sorry for all parents who peddle the false narrative going forward. IMO, that'll be the gateway to other stuff. Teens will say if they lied to me about vaping, what else have they lied to me about? Trial and error will then be the M.O.
