Never hurts to calculate with some overkill. Add 10% for waste. I bought another liter to increase my stock earlier this year. It's broken down into 100ml bottles in the freezer. My 4 liter stock fits into a box about 12"x8"x4".
When you say freezer, are you referring to a regular fridge freezer or a stand alone freezer?

All mine is in clear glass. I have some polypropylene with small tips that I sometimes use for filling atomizers, but mostly just use a syringe to refill and atty.

Glass Bottle Outlet is my supplier. This link is for clear, but they have other colors (blue and brown), too.
NOT tag:__gift AND clear boston rounds with cap*
This is where I purchased all my bostons. Works perfectly fine.

Upright standalone freezer. I put the bottles in zip locks and then pack them in a small cardboard box. They are sitting at 0F temp and there's been no cracks or other issues with the glass bottles and they've been at zero for over a year. I take one out here and there to DIY and let it sit for a few minutes to warm and then run warm water over the bottle to warm up the nic base. Once I'm done with DIY I put it back into the zip lock and back into the box in the freezer.

Thanks for the clarification. I do not have a standalone freezer, so I am trying to picture the most efficient way to store it in the kitchen freezer.

Yea, I knew about GBO. I've been buying their bottles and posting about them since starting DIY 5 years ago. They don't carry 100mL glass bottles though. That's a very unusual size, and I've never seen any anywhere. Most sizing jumps from 2oz. (60mL) right up to 4oz. (120mL). That's why I asked where you found 100mL ones. I'd like to get some.

Just so you know (and anyone else for that matter). GBO sells some items on Amazon for less.

For instance, I bought 24 16oz amber Boston rounds from GBO on Amazon, which include poly cone caps.
Total cost including shipping for 24 bottles and 24 caps: $41.98

On GBO's website, prices are much higher and you have to buy the caps separately.
Total cost including shipping for 24 bottles and 24 caps: $55.70

Total savings was $13.72 by buying through Amazon. Plus, you get Amazon buyer protection, which covers breakages in transit. If you buy on GBO's website, you have to buy shipping insurance if you want to be protected against any breakages in transit.

I did my overkill calculation based not on waste, but on my remaining life expectancy. I found the the age there's only a 10% chance I'll reach and then added 10 years. So I got enough to last until I'm 105.

But waste? No. Waste not, want not. ;)

I think you are making a grave mistake, you should get some more supplies.

I mean just imagine it,you're 105 years old and you suddenly run out of e-liquid.
At 105 you won't be able to ''run'' to the vape shop, won't be able to use your credit card because they won't believe you made it to 105 so you're stuck without vaping.

I would buy some more supplies just in case :D

Chances are, if you make it to 90 years old, you will not be in any shape to vape or smoke or even care about it. Most people that reach 80-90 have serious health issues. There are few exceptions to that rule. Personally, I don't want to live so long. That's just me.

But my current nic stash at my current nic level should take me well past 75. But that's assuming that freezing 100/ml PG nic will even last that long...I have doubts about it, but it didn't cost me much so I don't care.

However, the added expense of freezing it kinda bothers me. It costs me about $15/mo ($180 per year) to freeze my nic in a dedicated freezer. My hope is to get to 0mg nic level in the next 5 years. I already went from 16-18mg down to around 7mg without any negative side effects and I don't vape more. So this 0mg goal looks promising.

I don't want to live to 105. On my current trajectory, I'll be in body traction and feeding from a straw a good 25 years before that. 105 will mean full vegetative state.

For me: Best to go out fully engaged with life, faculties functioning albeit somewhat more slowly, preferably dying on my tractor productive to the end while testing that dead man switch.

Best I can tell, the little 3.5 cubic ft best buy chest freezer really is only running a couple $/month, negligible.

It's in our basement, which stays around 65 - 75 year round, opened less than once per day.

(I use under 1/3 of it for my nic, buried at the bottom; it should be a 30 year supply. The rest is food, mainly meat picked up on good sales.)

This highlights the fact that had the original drafters of this law back in 2016 had their way, vaping would be nearing its 2nd anniversary of being effectively banned. We have been on borrowed time. Let's see what happens in a couple months when the latest drop dead date is upon us.

The way I look at this, had the FDA had their way in 2009 when they started seizing shipments of ecigs from China, we would be nearing our 11th anniversary of vaping being effectively banned. Thank you Sotera and Judge Leon. :thumb:

We've been on borrowed time for 11 years now. We've come a long way. I think that vaping is here to stay, no matter what they do--taxes, restrictions, local bans of all kinds. That toothpaste is not going back into the tube. BTW, I was advised to start stockpiling in 2010 when I joined this forum. I never did--and it's a good thing I didn't. I may order another liter of nicotine soon and buy a few new mods and/or RTAs, but I'm still refusing to stockpile.

A couple of weeks ago Australia banned the sales of nicotine only to reverse this decision in a matter of days due to public outcry.

Advocacy works. If we protest, write letters, call our legislators, we have a chance. If we just sit and wait, we lose.

So I got enough to last until I'm 105.

You may not make it that long, but...I personally know 2 people in their mid-90's who are still going strong. So, you never know!

My mother doesn't vape and never smoked. She turned 94 last February. Her only meds are synthroid daily (for thyroid regulation) and sometimes a pill as needed for slight vertigo in the morning. Other than...healthy as a horse. Still trims the bushes in her yard, pulls weeds, prunes dead branches when needed, etc. She finally stopped riding her bike about 1 mile a day, just a year ago.

Other person is 95. He's battled and won against 3 different cancers. Recently had part of a leg amputated because of complications with his diabetes. But...he still works in his yard, washes his car himself, makes small repairs around his house, and is fully mentally fit.

So I prepped with enough nic to last until I'm 95 at my current rate of use and mg. :)
