Plus, I do believe them when they say the teen thing will be their priority. Look for C-Stores getting busted for selling to minors.

I'm almost certain I read a recent article (or something) that stated they suspended their store checks for the time being. I could be wrong.

I think a Lot of US Retailers are going to just Keep On Keeping On as if Nothing was Happening.

Until they get the "Warning Letter" from our friends at the FDA/CTP.
I still think a lot of them don't know anything is going on.

I agree the ones that do will continue business as usual, the vendors who have submitted PMTAs will not likely.

This is what will be available from Mister-E after today. There was a video on Facebook, I think, but I can't find it with my phone. They had over one hundred flavors. Now, thirteen. :(
13 flavors each in 6 nic levels, you know they are in deep.

In this Day n' Age, I'm just Not Sure how that is Possible?

But hey, maybe you are right.

Did you Notice the VG to PG Ratio they said their PMTA's would be for?

Sounds like they are going after more of the Pod mod crowd than the tank/rta market.

Sure did. I'm a high pg vaper, can only handle about 30 to 40% vg. My favorite is gone anyway. I think they went with middle of the road to try to make it vapable to the most people? Or, maybe based on sales history.

DIY is going to be an absolute must for vapers that absolutely need to be picky about what they can and cannot or will and will not vape. There simply is no other way. The offerings on the market will be more than dismal compared to what we have now, no room for choosing for a lot of people.

It's almost literally DIY or die. That means long-term nic storage because if anyone thinks nic base is going to survive, I have a bridge to sell you.

I think most vape shops are utterly clueless and have absolutely no idea about the 9/9/2020 deadline date. How many times have we heard people ask vape shop owners about their 9/9 plans and they look at them like they're from Saturn? I suspect they'll go about their business until someone throws enough hurdles in their way.

That's going to be when they can no longer replenish their inventory due to their distributors either going out of business or having their shipments seized by customs.

Depending on the size of the vendor they may even pay a fine or two and keep selling as long as possible.

That is something that I Don't expect to happen much.

It's one thing to "Play Dumb" and or to look at your Customers as if they were from Saturn when asked about Sept. 9th. But once you receive a Warning Letter from the FDA/CTP, they can Levy some pretty Substantial Fines against you for repeat action(s). As well as Civil Proceedings if they think you are Trying to Jerk the FDA/CTP around.

And isn't the FDA/CTP going to want to make an Example out of a Few retailers anyway?

I mean, If I was the FDA/CTP, I would think Slamming a few Shops and then holding a Press Release would be a Good way of Sending a Message to other Retailers.

As well as Kissing Up to Congress.

I think you can bet can bet on that.

Maybe even an ATF raid or two, who knows?

I'm confused about something. When is the last day, according to the FDA, that retailers can legally sell products that have no accepted PMTA - Sept 8 or Sept 9?
Based on the vendors I've seen stating that they'll stop at midnight on the ninth, I'm expecting most all will be up and running until then.

"The United States District Court for the District of Maryland has granted FDA’s request for an extension of the premarket review submission deadline for certain tobacco products, which FDA requested due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Applications are now required to be filed by Sept. 9, 2020 for many e-cigarettes, cigars and other deemed tobacco products."
