Change.org petition to halt the 'halt on shipping vape supplies'.

Sign the Petition
And this will do something ????

Besides tobacco, I've been a supplement {ie. vitamins, herbs, etc.} user for about 50 years and way back then there were some of your control freaks and big pharma shills trying to regulate the health food supplement industry like all vitamins would be highly regulated {LIKE VAPE PRODJUCTS} - But we had millions of people to fight them - And almost every health food store had a petition to sign to stop them - We won and legislation was passed to ensure the availability of supplements and without FDA {often nick named the food and death administration}
regulation.

Unfortunately this will not work with vape products
- There are not enough people, and part of the current anti-vape campaign is designed to make sure there never will be enough people - to block the big pharma control freak agenda.

I am now actually getting to believe that signing these petitions may not only not work - But if not enough people are signing, may have a counter productive effect - If petitions are only getting 10-20 thousand signatures - the politicians look at the numbers and say: Will not effects my electability so
f--k em - If you can't hurt him politically he, or she,
doesn't give a dam that your tobacco habit is safer than others - 50 years ago cigarette commercials were continuous and 24/7; now I see endless commercials for cancer drugs - Why would big pharma let you interfere with the multi trillion dollar cancer industry by giving people a product that is much safer and less likely, if at all, likely to cause cancer???

Get with the agenda, cancer is in and safe tobacco is out !!!!!

PS: I did sign it anyway - they have less than 3000 signers so far
- If it doesn't hit 20 or 30 thousand it is futile.

Yeah, a BIG part of the problem is that most vape b&ms never did that. I suppose in fear that it would drive customers away, thinking that this life-saving tech might be banned...

Doing nothing achieves nothing. Will a petition work? Who knows, but some do. So, why not take 60 seconds. And then do more.

If it hits 1 million it may not do anything, so I am going to email and CALL UPS and Fed Ex and make a complaint!

CALL THEM AND LET THEM KNOW!!!!

There’s probably still some vape shops that have no idea about Deeming or shipping bans. “Vape away dudes. How tubular!”

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
For those of you that are calling FedEx and UPS, please let us know what combination of button presses it takes you to get a real, live person on the phone. Last time I tried to call UPS everything was automated and unhelpful and I could not figure out how to get a live person on the phone. This is on purpose because they want you to do everything online. Live operators are too expensive.

Also, please keep track if the time it takes and please report that to us as well.

Then, if you could, please post what your blood pressure is (or at least what you perceive it to be) by the time you are finished with that "call".

Spain
Five Pawns just threw in the towel. So did Slim's E-Juice. Vape Dudes is trying to find a way to keep their international business profitable while attempting to find a way to keep their domestic business open.

If you look a the PMTA list, the number of vendors who have filed has remained the same. No increase since Congress ruined their businesses.

This is the classic case of government overreach. Not once, but twice.

Simply put, this is bull.....

If I was one of those vendors who took the time, trouble and expense of filing a PMTA only to have another branch of government ruin my business, I'd file a lawsuit.

Things like this happen all the time and all around the world.
Case in point, when in Spain they decided to restrict smoking in restaurants and bars (tapas type bars not like pubs) they forced said businesses to upgrade their establishments.

The law dictated that they could reserve a 30% of the size of the establishment for smokers, that of course meant an upgrade with it's subsequent cost.
By upgrade i mean spend about 20.000 euros (in some cases much more, depending on the size of the restaurant or bar) making a special area for smokers, you know closed up with glass, special air filtration units etc etc.

The anti tobacco law was enforced in 2010,i think 2 years before that is when they forced restaurants and bars to make the changes so they could have a smoking zone.

Apart from the obvious that smoking is bad we can all agree with that, but the way the Spanish government screwed up local restaurants and bars was just plain evil.
They spend the money and resources to make an area for smokers and then less than two years later (not sure about that, could be less) they come up with the new law that erases the previous one and bans ALL smoking in restaurants and bars.

Between 40.000 and 50.000 establishments spent the money to remodel their business so they could make room for that smoking area,at 20.000 euros a pop and estimating 45.000 restaurants/bars that comes up to roughly to 900 million euros...that just ain't right.

And keep in mind this was already when the crisis was in full effect,so yeah moronic decisions done by the government is a wide spread issue, happens in Spain...happens in the USA and it happens everywhere.

The vast majority of vapers are ignorant of vaping advocacy. They are quite content to get their supplies and will be left in disbelief once they find out that they can't order from their favorite vape site, the local vape shops have either closed due to covid or don't carry what they are used to, or are too expensive. Then, in September, even the option of the B&M is gone. They will be then screaming their defiance. Too little, too late.

So out of curiosity I just called one of the 2 local vape shops in my area. The person on the phone had no clue about the vape mail ban or PMTA.

    Let me repeat that...

The person on the phone had no clue about the vape mail ban or PMTA.

The only reason why I'm not calling the other one is because it's the busy one. More popular. Don't wanna bother them and I have a feeling I know what the outcome will be anyway.
