The country would benefit greater if the FDA removed lawmakers from congress.

Apparently they already have, it would seem, as we have to ask their permission to create, produce and sell. That's a mere trifle though. Now if we could get the FDA to focus and limit its role to just that well, we might be on to something. Unfortunately we can't cure cancer.

Good luck. :)

Remember the FDA is often referred to as
"The Food and Death Administration" and it is often not the FDA working for lawmakers - It is the lawmakers
{often referred to as 'control freaks'} who are working for the FDA !

And I will not justify nor condone the antics of a famous ex-president who kept referring to 'fake news' - But the obvious agenda driven bias of the news who began with a pandemic of teen vaping addiction and hyped the hell out of a pandemic of deaths supposedly caused by over the counter tobacco vape products {proven false and actually caused by illegal vape products}.

And continue the agenda with famous NBC newscaster Lester Holt a few months ago citing this as a major news story during an nightly nationwide news broadcast.
The essential story:
Thousands of teenagers in an ANONYMOUS ONLINE SURVEY report becoming addicted to vaping.

And I may ask how many tobacco nazis and Bloomberg shills actually filled out that survey???

Never let science interfere with an agenda
- The tobacco inquisition continues and vaping is the heretic they want to burn at the stake !!!

I agree with most all of your post.

But, I'm puzzled by your comment: And I will not justify nor condone the antics of a famous ex-president who kept referring to 'fake news'.

If by now we haven't seen how the media has abandoned all pretense of news versus their bias, then we're blind.
You said it yourself, regarding vaping.
Is there a difference between "fake news" and biased new coverage?
In the eyes of the beholder, I suppose, and one's political persuasion.

Maybe subtle - but there is a difference.

If someone keeps saying over and over again that an election has been stolen - And the courts, many courts rule over and over again that there is no evidence of a stolen election - Then claiming a stolen election is 'fake news'.

On the other hand saying:

Thousands of teenagers in an ANONYMOUS ONLINE SURVEY report becoming addicted to vaping.
***

May be true - But can be biased as hell. We have no idea who the teenagers were who answered the survey, how the initial question was phrased or how the question was delivered to what teenagers where
- Or even why they were encouraged to respond to it in the first place. Teenagers who enjoy vaping and have had no problem with it and don't feel like the junkies the 'biased media' and their 'control freak' masters {politicians} want them to feel like, would probably not respond to this survey in the first place, would they ?

If we are going to fight the devil {Michael Bloomberg, Et Al.], it is important to distinguish between fake and biased news.

*** I just Googled this supposed anonymous online survey and can find no reference to it. Maybe it too was fake news ?!?!
Then you would have to ask would the major news media resort to fabrications and lies to advance an agenda? - Maybe there is more fake news than you want to believe?

Except the courts did not say over and over there was no evidence. Instead, they ruled there was no standing. Big difference.

Getting off topic again.

Don't want to argue that - But if true it once again shows fake news - As all the news stations here in the US kept saying over and over {to this day} - that a stolen election was claimed with little or no evidence.

Like what I'm really questioning here is, was there really any solid evidence of a teenage vaping epidemic where thousands and thousands of teenagers were becoming nicotine addicts ????

The biased, and probably fake {my opinion} news media here says there is {a teen vaping epidemic}
- And as long Michael Bloomberg, Et. Al. has the money to burn - the fake news will keep flowing.

I did have to look that up. Guess I'm not what we used to call hip.

My take on news is that most of what I read is probably true. Nobody is going to lie about a tornado hitting Florida yesterday. The trick is learning to figure out what's true and what isn't. If powerful forces of whatever kind might have an interest then it's time to be skeptical. Stuff about vaping for example. 95% of what I read about vaping is untrue. I only know that because I have a personal interest in digging deeper, which takes a lot of time and effort as well as motivation, and there aren't enough hours in the day to do that work on every topic. Wish I could say I would have figured out the vaping lies if I wasn't a vaper.

That is a very refreshing article. Bookmarked for future use.

I agree that's a good article that dives into the drivers for what's called the teen epidemic.

Teen vaping is much of the reason we are losing the right to mail order vape supplies. There's virtually no way to age check people who have access to a credit card, but DL photos don't lie unless it's a really good laminated fake.

The 'Tobacco Inquisition' has been going on for, strong for at least a hundred years, but actually could be dated back to when Man first started to use tobacco, usually as a medicine!

Apparently vaping caught them, the inquisitors, by surprise - A truly safer, if not completly safe, tobacco product is not supposed to exist - And dammed as they are, they felt even more obligated than ever to prove vaping wasn't safe. You know the rest of the story.......

I am not knowledgeable on using tobacco as a medicine, which I assume from what you said above meant smoking it. I just did a quick Google search on it and from what I read I think most tobacco use for medicinal purposes involves using it topically or ingesting it. Please correct me if I got this wrong :)

Having said that I imagine most ANTZ don't care how it's used, tobacco/nicotine is just BAD

Ya, unfortunately I know the rest of this story. And 'It sucks' is putting it mildly.
