You'd think a closet smoker would have some compassion. It's true. We can see very clearly we are being scr**ed.

But proprietary connection, which is a definite plus. For Altria.
That is actually one of the few viable paths that I can see, with a few big IF's.
IF a nic base manufacturer is willing to go through the PMTA process to get a nic base product approved for sale to consumers.
IF the FDA were to approve that product.
IF the shops were to only re-sell the product as is from the manufacturer, no repackaging/branding allowed.
Now, whether or not that is a viable business plan, idk.
I think what the Shock was, at least for Me, was Not that there would be PMTA Requirements, as you Mentioned, anyone who has Followed this knew that there would be PMTA requirements.
The Shock was that what the FDA has Released is Worse, Much Worse, than what they have Previously Eluded to. And in light of what the UK's Health Ministry have released, the FDA's actions seem to Fly in the Face of Current Science.
I really Wonder if it would be Easier to bring a New Cigarette to Market vs. an e-Cigarette Product?

I posted this idea in the Updates thread. Figured I'd cross-post it since there seem to be more people hanging out here:
FDA Deeming updates - Tuesday May 10th community events
MBV put up this blog post today:Today I got 2 emails from vendors, notifying people about the deeming. (Mountain Oak and Mad Vapes) It was the email from White cloud last week that first alerted me to the deeming release.
Any other vendors using their mailing lists to spread the word?
OK, I was going through some You Tube videos tonight and bumped into this one. Seems appropriate for this thread. In the context of the song (and the movie soundtrack) it portrays what it is like to take our freedoms for granted until they are taken away.

Thomas Jefferson?Right! ??? Preempts all state authority to determine what a business is. Who died and made FDA king?
Good luck all.![]()
What do you mean by "FDA Approved?" As far as I know there are no nic base liquids approved as tobacco products per the deeming that hit the federal registry yesterday. There are wholesalers who are FDA approved already. No repackaging required. Stock shelf and sell?
Or maybe The Father of our Country George Washington. Who led the troops to put down the whiskey rebellion?Thomas Jefferson?
