Because it is Hard to find Balanced Articles that are Relatively Devoid of Emotional Rhetoric on the subject of e-Cigarettes. Also Hard to Find articles that include Links to Referenced Sources.

Can you go argue with that guy in the comments, I don't have an account and he's a dummy. [Edit - just call that one guy a dummy]

Maybe I missed something. The article appeared to be pro-vaping to me.

I think he was saying it cinched it in favor of not the other way.

They are legal, but in many cc processing terms of service they do not allow transactions involving tobacco products. Especially online.
Oh yeah, the "unintended consequence" of categorizing them as a tobacco product.... didn't think of that.

well..... CASAA's latest call to action

NJ - Take action to oppose a ban on flavored vapor products! (S.298)
In 2010, New Jersey was the first state to prohibit vaping indoors. Now, a lawmaker in Trenton wants to ban flavors too. Even the FDA chose to not ban flavored vapor products because they recognize that flavors may help smokers quit.

is a sign of things to come from the states, what the FDA did not address in the deeming the states are sure to take care of for them. While everyone is focused on the FDA the states are going to attack from behind.

Just heard an interview with Dr Gary Smith on the BBC about the poisons call centre study. He was saying it was an epidemic, implied that all of the ~4000 kids exposed to Nic became seriously ill, and mentioned the one child who died during the study (which was conducted over 40 months).
I am not sticking up here fro Dr. Smith as he is a scum bag. Stories concerning the poison control
center and the increase in e-cigarette calls started appearing about 1 to 2 years ago and generated
the the usual fear mongering response from the media implying that emergency rooms every
were stacked full with little babies in the throws of acute nicotine poisoning. The government
tracks such information as the amount of calls, the category's of different classes of products
that can cause poisoning and, types of poisons in those category's. Actual outcomes are tracked
by call logs and checked by contacting original sources to determine accuracy. They do not call
back every caller. A certain percentage will determine actual outcomes to a high degree of certainty.
The results show that actual bad outcomes are very low in all category's.

In the case of inquiries involving e-cigarettes not more than a few resulted in a sick child in need of a emergency room visit. Calls concerning tobacco (cigarettes generating the overwhelming majority)
dwarfed the calls concerning e-cigarettes. Ergo, when the Dr. refers to 4000 incidents of poisoning
by nicotine he very well could be telling the truth. However he forgets to mention 3999 of them
are tobacco cigarette related. The one death he refers too is an outright lie. That would be the
child that died in Dec. 2014. When the child was discovered he was already in convulsions with
a bottle of nic base (no brand name inferred here) next to him. Assuming the child was poisoned
the child's caretaker tried to induce vomiting and it quickly became evident that this wasn't going
to work,911 was called post haste. The poison center was never called. I followed this story and read I believe every news article that was released for 2 months. I personally called and spoke to the Chief of the Fort Plains Police dept (who told me he was the first responder to the scene) and,the coroner
in charge of the investigation.
Regards
Mike

I think we're all on the wrong end of this one... not wrong in the sense that we're wrong, but wrong in the sense of we're not going to like what happens to us over the next few years.

You shouldn't need experience reading scientific journals, legal briefs, interpreting federal regulations, or tracking political contributions to be able to choose a healthier alternative in your life.

Schools Urged To Treat Teen Smokers With Nicotine Patch

Nicotine Patches and Chewing Gum

"Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) isn't just for adults -- it's also an effective weapon for treating smoking addiction in teens. About 20 percent of high school students smoke, and half of adults who smoke develop an addiction by their 18th birthday, making adolescents an important target to kick the habit. While NRT product labels discourage NRT for teens, the latest medical guidelines recommend it as a safe and effective treatment option for them."

Does anyone know if the FDA is planning to release key parts of its criteria for PMTA acceptance. E.g., the list of undesirable components tested for in the aerosol and pass threshold amounts for each one?

Or, is it going to remain a complete secret so that manufactures that submit their millions have no idea if it's going to pass muster?

Kangertech / Innokin / Aspire / Smok already working with legal teams for law suite

Can you go argue with that guy in the comments, I don't have an account and he's a dummy. You might point out that nico-gum/patches are regulated, and also restricted for sale to the ripe old age of above 12.

I Can't from this Computer. But perhaps when I get Home Tonight I can Reply to some of his thoughts.

I think he was saying it cinched it in favor of not the other way.

I Think that You are Thinking Correctly. LOL.

OK super smart ECF peeps. I just received this from my State Rep. I was curious where he stood on this. Here is the response. I need to know if this means ANYTHING. LOL
Rep. Steube supports parity in current law. As you may know, last week, the Federal Food and Drug Administration issued new rules and they can be found below.

They should lower the age for sales. Like UK where it's 12.

Not all teens want to go to their parents for help with their problems.
