My simple reply to those folks is, I tell them You are still addicted to smoking, you are just not currently smoking. Your anger and resentment are proof that nicotine still has a hold on you.
Yep. Like a dry drunk. I have an uncle who quit in the 1970s and he says he still wants to smoke.

It says I'm a "Right-Wing Libertarian". Yeah, that's probably right, as I generally abhor government intervention. I'd vote Libertarian if I thought they had a chance of winning.... heck, I live in California, I already know all of our Electrorial College delegates will go Democrat anyway, maybe I will for a change.

My state is as blue as the Pacific. I voted for Johnson in 12 without a second thought. Change happens slowly and support is measured over more than one cycle.

Every test I take is loaded with libertarians first and then Sanders before the obvious ones come up. I don't agree with some of the extreme libertarian views but that's why we have checks and balances. If someone like Johnson ever got their chances it would be a series of small tests with policy change and not some immediate house cleaning. If those ideas are successful then other larger things can be tested. Policy that doesn't work would be opposed.

We really need to do something eventually. The status quo is failing us but there's no way to break the cycle it seems.

I know many people like this. What a burden to have to live with. And this is why I know quitting is impossible for many people including myself. Who wants to drag that weight around for the rest of their lives. Enter vaping. This is why vaping is the greatest invention since the garage door opener. We can continue our bad habit with only 5% of the harm. I'll take that tradeoff anytime!

And SEVIA says:

As an association we are currently going to assist the Right 2 Be Smoke Free Coalition in challenging the unconstitutional federal law affecting the vaping industry. They will play a key role in organizing and funding industry activities. We believe the FDA regulations should be contested and legally challenged
You can contribute to become a member of the Right 2 Be Smoke Free Coalition.

We also want to express our support for the Cole/Bishop amendment which we believe is the essential first step to saving the industry by moving the predicate date from February 2007 to the effective date of the deeming regulations.
Moving the grandfather date will keep companies alive, allow every vapor company (small or large) to continue to sell their existing products without having to file costly applications and keep our industry alive while we develop legislative strategies to save our industry.
See the “Cole-Bishop is the Essential First Step to Saving Vapor” VTA Guidance Document“.

We will also financially support on the national level various organizations such as http://casaa.org http://vaping.org and others so they can continue to fight for consumers and industry.

It says I'm a "Right-Wing Libertarian"..
Mine only listed the candidates, their parties and percentages of supposed agreement, no over-all assessment of my political leanings. Maybe because I clicked on, and answered all the extra questions.

They sure over-estimated my agreement with Clinton. I should know better than messing with a silly questionaire. I'll try not to let it get me down.

Oliver could do a great job of attacking the attacks on vaping. Plenty of humor to be had in nearly every aspect of the fight.

He fights corruption, and has an army of loyal viewers/activists.

I agree that Oliver would do a great show on the subject, but I'm not sure of the lead time or shooting schedule of his show. I don't get HBO, so haven't seem many of his shows, but the ones I have, while topical are not exactly "breaking news." (I could be wrong.)

In any case, although broadcast on HBO the show is produced by Avalon Television. Story ideas should probably be sent to them directly:

Avalon Television

I'm not sure if Oliver is affiliated with Avalon, but Taylor and Carvell are.

One must research who wrote those questionnaires. Everyone has a bias. No different than fact checkers. Who is the one checking the facts and are there fact checkers for fact checkers? If not, there ought to be.
