Thinking about all of this stuff tonight, I have come to realize that I am a little bit excited by this battle in a good way. I still want to have faith in our system on some level, and things feel pretty dicey right now, but I want to believe that truth will win out in the end.

There have been a lot of 'losers' in the health field before. Germ theory, sterilization, and circulation to name a few that were highly criticized. Circulation theory was esp. heated. Galen from the 2nd century was the 'authority' on blood (made in the liver?? circulated through hollow nerves, etc.) until William Harvey discovered the true system of circulation through veins and arteries in 1638.

At the time some notable declared "I'd rather be wrong with Galen, than right with Harvey!" lol

But in these cases, "the truth will win out" - came through - it just took a while.

Beautiful! Mine was a red-tri crossed with something, probably a cattle dog since he had freckles. Out here they don't care much about breeds, they care about how the dogs work.

You may like this one - it was from 'my life' before ECF at DPreview's retouch forum. A member's dog had died and they didn't have a good take on one photo they liked - I don't have a "before", but there was not much 'separation' of the dog and the background - but this was 'after' and the person was quite appreciative of the effort....

It looks to me like Virginia has required it since 2014 (for tobacco and vaping products), but clearly it's not been enforced. Yet.

Violation by an individual or a separate retail establishment, except for the sale of bidis, shall be punishable by a civil penalty not to exceed $100 for the first violation, up to $200 for a second violation and up to $500 for subsequent violations.

The vendor was actually very nice after I emailed them. They offered a solution that I won't disclose here, but this is just the beginning, as Les said. As California goes... You guys have 3 more months--unless you happen to live in
