ECF didn't have any advertisers to speak of when it began
LOL..maybe Oliver will just fire some admins and moderators..

I have read where Oliver has said If there were little to no advertisers they would not be able to put the resources into running the site they have now without that revenue.

I do not Believe US Government can hurt ECF with Vendor Bans. However Oliver may have to make some adjustments to Viewing Access.

ECF is already an OVER 18 site and That meets Advertising Age restriction. Implementation of Member Age Verification may become a necessity.........Though none of this is relevant to US Vendor Members if there is nothing left to Advertise.
:grr:

I just don't see how the fda can have any jurisdiction over forums especially if they aren't American based. It's just nuts. This whole thing just boggles the mind.

An old business practice was to buy the competition and then dissolve them.

Yea, the site would probably lose some resources
but methinks he's gonna be a good Brit and carry on, jolly good,
bloody whatever it takes.

I'd like to see a Law that requires when a House or Senate Member argues For/Against or Votes on a Bill, that they have to were a Jacket with Logo's on it from Companies that they have received Money From.

Something like this...
THAT would be SOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!! LMBO!!!:lol::lol::lol:

I also want a law that says you must pay your income tax with cash to a teller who takes it from you. None of this withholding from your check stuff. You should be made to get good old fashioned cash, go to a federal teller and fork it over. People would better understand just exactly how much of their hard earned money goes to government and there is no better way than to watch the stack of cash go from your hand to a fed's hand.
 Okay, now we're even...I want to go throw up....
...geesh, how depressing would THAT be to have to hand it over in CASH.
It's bad enough that the small return we get from Federal barely covers the addt'l we OWE to IL.

Remember - August dates are Small Manufacturers - Calculated by Sales, not size
Feb, 8 dates for large intities

How do you relate this to 2017 Dates, which seem to indicate PMTA's Must be filed - Feb. 8th / Aug. 8th ?

This looks like a Cloaked Removal of ALL Devices and immediate Removal of unflavored Nicotine as Non-Flavored Products.
I think you are mistaking 'Ingredient Listing' dates with PMTA deadline, which is Aug 8, 2018 regardless of the size of manufacturer.

Our government would solve that problem by banning Golf and requiring all Americans to wear safety helmets, just in case. You never know when a rock might fall out of the sky, or a Golf ball..

Miniature golf needs to be regulated to protect the children.

It's not that the FDA could stop ECF from running the ads, it's that it would be illegal for US companies to pay for the ads, and they could be fined.

A great way to end every letter we are sending to our legislators as well might be:

Also in conclusion can you tell me what steps your office is taking to make sure the traditional manufacturers of combustible tobacco that have taken so many of our loved ones lives do not end up in full control of this industry.

I came across this last night:

Child Nicotine Poisoning Prevention Act of 2015
https://www.congress.gov/114/plaws/publ116/PLAW-114publ116.pdf

(B) EXCLUSION.—
The term ‘‘liquid nicotine container’’ does not include a sealed, pre-filled, and disposable container of nicotine in a solution or other form in which such container is inserted directly into an electronic cigarette, electronic nicotine delivery system, or other similar product...

Another score for BT.

What do you mean old? That's still a common practice to this day. And good luck trying to enforce some sort of antitrust action against BT if they buy up all the wee folk.
Of course this is still common today. It's also an old practice. Knives and forks are old too but we still use them. :)

That was originally what I thought, but the Postings seem a bit obscure opposed to their interview Video.

Sorry, just not very trusting at this point.

"A Billion Lives" is a documentary about the vapor industry. On Monday, June 6th at 2 PM EDT, we will sit with the Director, Aaron Biebert, for an in-depth interview about the film, the challenges in making it and when fans can expect to see the film.

From the film's website: "A billion people are projected to die this century from smoking, and there’s a solution. It’s not a perfect one, but it will save lives by reducing the harm caused by cigarettes by switching smokers to vaping nicotine. Unfortunately, there are big players with vested interests in keeping this new technology away from the masses."
