Why, the restriction is a State one, not a Federal one.U.S. Customs will only deal with "Federal" constraints. They don't work for Arkansas.
In your example, they'll still most likely seize it.![]()

I don't understand your question. U.S. Customs is a Federal agency dealing with Federal laws. They don't enforce the varying violations in all 50 states. Each state is compelled by law to comply with the deeming regs. (But each state can impose harsher restrictions). Why, the restriction is a State one, not a Federal one.
Because you said "In your example, they'll still most likely seize it.", why would the Feds still seize it?I don't understand your question. Something I have been wondering:
Does US Customs have the authority, or obligation, to enforce "State" restrictions?
For example, if someone in Hong Kong sends something that is obviously vape related to someone in Arkansas what is the US Customs responsibility?

Basic cleanliness and hygiene mandates no garbage,no contaminants, no trash in the facility.
So how on earth am I gonna let FDA in without compromising GMP ?![]()
This to me is one of the most troubling aspects of what we are dealing with: fellow vapers who have no idea what happened on 5/5/16. How can our message go viral so that ALL vapers would be aware of what is happening? We've got lots of creative people in this conversation what ideas are out there?Just had a salesman come in to the office...he saw my stuff on my desk and announced that he vapes too...
Doesn't have a clue as to what is going on...thought it was just about diacetyl in liquids.
Short chat was had, ECF and CASAA info given.

Sorry Mike. I was speaking for the future.Because you said "In your example, they'll still most likely seize it.", why would the Feds still seize it?
I meant that technically... down the road... if the full deeming regs go into effect unchallenged... AND assuming the exporter's goods are not FDA compliant, then U.S. Customs has full authority to seize them.
Well, Although the FDA has publicly stated they can handle it... I personally don't think they've thought through the logistics. Also don't know where they're going to get the budget if more manpower is needed.Amazing if Customs ends up devoting much manpower to this stuff considering all the other crap they really should be keeping out of this country.

But wait! You mean your kitchen isn't ISO certified?
