That's why I regularly contact my Congressman and representative. I hammer them with real research like from the Royal College of Physicians.

I also state that not only will I not vote for anyone who supports the FDA and excessive regulations and taxes but will actively work to remove them from office.

I vape, I Vote and I'm damn ......!

Guess you will not be voting for many incumbants in our state, they mostly suck when it comes to vaping.

Yes we are reduced to hoping one person will do the right thing and stick his/her neck out into a meat grinder. . Which will be wildly unpopular with what is now probably a majority of the highly propagandized citizenry. The last time that happened was probably Roe V Wade. And in that case that decision had more support than we do, particularly in the media.

Yeah, I disagree. Many "unpopular" decisions have been made by one judge. But it depends on what is meant by "unpopular". Judge Leon's decision was 'unpopular' with the FDA and most of gov't officials at the time, but "popular" with a small minority in the country - vapers, some friends/family and libertarians :- ) The SC just 'undecided' a decision on immigration from a district court - not popular with the Prez, Dem Congress and their supporters. Just how popular that is, will likely be decided in Nov.

I seriously doubt that 1% of the populace is even aware of Judge Leon's decisions.

But if deeming is overturned I am quite sure that 100% of the populace will be aware that the court just doomed the nation's children to a life of nicotine addiction via vaping , among other evil doings. Courtesy of an extremely vape hostile media.

This is why I am positive our biggest enemy is not the FDA but the media.

I'm sure you're right on Judge Leon - like I said - depends on how 'unpopular' is defined. Not sure if 100% of the populace (or even the vaping community) will be aware of the court's decision on this one. But many more than in 2009. Media is bad, agreed. FDA is worse, imho. It's their decisions that have mattered. They would have done it without the media but it does help their cause with media support.

If the judge is an activist judge - media will be a factor, as it has been with others - even Roberts.

Nearly 100% of the populace is aware of the govt propaganda declaring vaping is as bad as or worse than smoking. If deeming is overturned I assure you an equal number will be aware the judge is a child killer - courtesy of the same media. Never underestimate the media. But the vaping community is doing just that - at their peril.

In fact, the vaping --> smoking gateway idea, plus nicotine is as addictive as {that stuff we dare not mention here} will do to vaping what that second hand smoke idea did to smoking. It matters not how nonsensical that idea is.

I'll just say this, I'd much rather have a bunch of posts in the near future belittling all of us who thought the sky was falling and panicked and stocked up for no reason, than a bunch of posts from people who didn't stock up and now don't know what to do.

I hope there are people making fun of the panic.

Actually history, which is essentially written by the media, will declare that the destruction of the evil vaping industry was one of the great victories in public health policy. While simultaneously lamenting the continuing high rates of smoking...

I have always maintained that Political Correctness is the root of all that is evil in our country. It is responsible for the downfall since I grew up in the 70s.

You can do whatever works for you. Others will do what works for them. We all have our own separate circumstances and reasons for doing what we do. That you choose to stock up is your business and I wish you the best. That I choose not to is my business. But it isn't due to, "now don't know what to do". I fully know what to do and understand every ramification perfectly fine. If vaping is wiped out I plan to figure out how to do without...sooner rather than later. Adding a few more years of vaping DIY that I don't even like wont cut it for me (I'm still not convinced I could keep vape supplies on hand that would outlast my remaining expected life). If I'm going to be anguished without the vape that I like then I'm going to direct that anguish wisely and figure out how I can do without it altogether. It will be a tough battle. But then I can be a tough SOB too.

Whatever happens with the deeming, taxes and regulations on ecigarettes are about to become, in some cases already have become, onerous in many locales. So, stocking up is never going to look like a foolish decision down the road.

Evidently you don't know who you are talking to.... I'm done here. You win. lol
I understand that it's tough to pick a greater evil here. But govt is expected to be evil. The press was tasked to keep evil govt in check. That's why the First Amendment came first. But the press has failed miserably so I name them Public Enemy No. 1.

Everyone has to do what they have to do. If anyone doesn't stock up, for whatever reason, that is their choice and their circumstance. I can't stock up as much as I'd like to, but I have a plan in place if the worst happens. I'm relatively young and I hopefully have quite some time left here, likely more than I did before I quit smoking. I don't want to go back to smoking, I don't think I will. I would like to get my wife to stop smoking, hopefully she will.

I would love for the number of people who say "I didn't know about any of this, what am I supposed to do now?" to be as low as possible. Even if you believe there is a likelihood that vaping will "win," as I do, people should be aware that the devastation of the industry is a very real possibility.

When I signed up on ECF I quickly met a guy on here that I really liked. I enjoyed his company very much. I got to know him a bit off of ECF as well. We sent each other packages of vape gear and juices all the time to try out. We got to know each other pretty good beyond just vape stuff. Truthfully, he was my favorite person on ECF for a good year and a half. Then he started to post less. And less. And less. Then he just stopped altogether. I knew something was wrong and I missed my buddy. After emailing him a bunch of times I finally got him to email me back and he told me he was diagnosed with diabetes and nearly had to have his leg amputated. He said he was fortunate not to lose his leg because he was told it was likely they would have to take it. He said when he received his diagnosis he put down his Provari and never picked it up again. He also lost some 50 pounds and is the same weight he was in high school back in the 70's. He's doing great now. Still slim and trim, still not vaping or smoking. He serves as an inspiration. If he can do it, then so can I...if I have to.

Surprised the Dr. didn't jump on the Vaping caused it Band wagon.

His transition to Non-Smoker/Non-Vaper is inspiring and shows it can be accomplished, should one choose. His Goals were met, most likely the same as mine - For survival.

I would love to have him post his story for all to read. Vaping is/can be a Gateway out of the Trap of Smoking. The slow killing of one self. Transition is Choice and should remain so for all Smokers.

I do not Demonize Smokers, nor do I Persecute those that just never smoke. It is the Idiots that Accept Certain Drugs have a hold on people and they need support and help, yet Degrade Smokers under the same logic. Those can drop dead without me missing any of them.
*We(society) are all Parasitic Victims of Big Tobacco Feeding off their Financial Strength.
**Example - If BT did not exist - Executives of CFTFK would not be raking in $1M income to fight Smoking:glare: a Campaign attached financially to BT through Big Pharma. Parasites:sneaky:

You know, in all my time on ECF I have run across only one person who wanted to vape yet never smoked in his life. I tried to discourage him while being nice about it. I was honest and told him vaping was relatively harmless relative to smoking but if he could...don't do either. Not sure what he ended up doing.

I had an IRL friend try 0mg with an ego because of the flavors. He has all kinds of messed up GI issues and had to avoid a lot of foods so he wanted to try it for the flavors. Didn't really keep up with it, but it was an interesting use.
