Frankly, anyone not using age verification will not be in business for very long. FDA has long been known to have geared up to do test purchases both in B&M and online. And guess which is easier?
A lot of people are having a problem with providing the last 4 digits of ssn. I don't see where this is relevant in determining age. Also some sites are asking not only for a drivers license but want the license number also. Again, not relevant.

I don't have to order anything just yet but do you know if any of these sites are requiring a driver's license as opposed to a state ID? You wouldn't think it would matter if you have to go through the same process to get either but recently for the first time I was told my state ID didn't count for a process that a license would. I really don't get it because I had to go through the same exact verification but whatever.

I wouldn't give out either. SSN or Driver's license number. It's just crazy.

That is just plain stupid of them. State ID when you are face to face is the same verification and there are a lot of people who do not drive.

Tell me about it. It was for getting a new state ID in a different state, so hopefully I won't have the same problem with any websites... meaning the govt is usually more strict about stuff like that. But yeah, stupid, because I brought in the same exact documents to get my original state ID as I would have if I had been getting a driver's license.

I read through one online vendors blog page where the new identifying company also requires you to have a cell phone to receive their messages. I guess they won't verify if you don't own a cell phone. Who made them chief bottle washer.?

The nerve of some people. I guess they figure if you want something bad enough that you will jump through hoops to get it. NOT this trained monkey.

On another hand I hope these sites have their security up to par, they're now hosting personal information that could get them a class action lawsuit if they got hacked and someone got away with a few hundred (maybe thousand) ID scans. Just ask Target it nearly brought them to their knees, imagine what it would do to a vape store online.

I'll definitely look for the sites that require the fewest hoops, but I don't really have a choice but to jump for now. I mean if I couldn't buy another thing I'd still be set for a while, but in a perfect world I'm not done stocking up which means I'd better get ready to do some hopping.

Well, there goes all international sales ...
I read that international sales are NOT affected by this. Only if you are in the US will they do age verification. They will not ask to verify if you are overseas and your order will continue to go through as always.

I'm HIGHLY skeptical on this one, had an intresting conversation with a postmaster today and the USPS has NO CLUE what I'm talking about when I asked him about a mail ban be it national or international. I didn't ask my mailman either this is the NYC postmaster in charge of the Brooklyn NY sorting center.

I've ordered some stuff from Fasttech last night and it shipped today, we'll see where that goes but if what he's saying holds any water there is no one actively scanning anything as far as packages are concerned.

Me too. I just hurried up and click all over the page and it went on to the site. They didn't have anything I wanted.
:)
I haven't bought from them in a long time, but DV used to be one of my go-to sites.
