I often wonder if vaping is allowed to be more lucrative if someone could invent an e-cig that replicates a tobacco cigarette. If there were an e-cig/liquid that was 95 - 100% identical to a Marlboro think how easy it would be to switch for many smokers. While most of us have adjusted to other flavors, this is a horrifying thought to many who think about transitioning from cigarettes to e-cigs.
That wouldn't have made it easier for me. I never liked any variety of Marlboros at all. :)

Sounds like you were describing Hillary.

I'd hoped you could do better.

One has nothing to do with the other now.

But somehow people are still incapable of that realization.

But, we choose these politicians. These politicians bring home that new road from BFE to nowhere. They get funds for that new wing on the library (named after themselves). They provide food, medical care, rent, phones, endless "grants", subsidies, tax credits and deductions. You name it and if enough voters want it then a politician will give it to them.

When the people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.

We're not interested in what you think about the president. Heed the moderator's warning and take your opinion elsewhere. Capiche?

It may not have been of or by you, but it was of the people.

I, for one, would like to keep open access to the internet without being controlled by the whims of my isp.
That's what they're taking away... Big Telecom lobbied to have it removed... since when is Big Telecom "the people?"

I was not making a comment about the President's performance in office, his capability or his ethics. He may or may not last the term. ...

Wouldn't/Isn't that going to the Ironic Twist in all this?

Because the successor to the President has a somewhat Checkered Past when it comes to e-Cigarettes.

And I wonder if he would Sign something like HR-2194 if it reached his desk?

My favorite was always Marlboro Lights box. When became Marlboro Gold after they were told by the FDA they couldn't use the word Light anymore. Still, never once heard anyone call them Gold at the store, it was always Lights.

I guess Comcast thought it was "the people". After all, look at how many people have no choice other than Comcast. That's a lot of people.

Oh, wait, you meant people like the actual people should have been looked after?

Some people cannot control themselves.

Looks like I hit a nerve.

Oh, lots of nerves here. I'm nervous trying to figure out the odds of being turned into radioactive ash or not waiting on a FT order. I mean, if I won't be here to enjoy a new tank, why get excited?

Never mind, it's shiny, of course I'll take my chances and order it.:D

I am going to leave this to you, we'll simply be talking at cross-purposes forever should I continue.

Only if you narrow your definition to campaign contributions and spending.

Broaden that view a little, look at the roll back of restrictions on big money at the risk of the environment and health of the people.

It becomes very clear that by one of their own governing, they've won in a tremendous way.

Sure, they were hoping for support by backing a known and somewhat understood candidate they thought they could control.

But overall, their win was much, much greater in their initial loss.

Drumpf's interests align all too well by default for any other outcome.

Your vote is only powerful when you have valid options, I think was the point.

We don't usually have the option of "none of the above."
I understood the point. And I find it hard to believe when there are handful of candidates to choose from in the primaries and general election that we still manage to vote for the worst ones...those usually being the incumbent.

"We" meaning us collectively...not individually.

The real problem with our government is the mainstream media.
The real problem with EVERYTHING is the mainstream media.

They are the reason we are having the problems we are having with respect to vaping.
And they are the reason we can not vote in any honest politicians.

The political machines throw their weight behind those willing to play the game.
And the mainstream media creates and perpetuates the influence of the political machines.

Good candidates have no platform beyond the local.
And good people have no idea what the truth of anything is anymore.

When the people find that they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic.
Benjamin Franklin
But yeah, this too.
