Perhaps I am simply old and stupid but, Anna, what are you saying?

To be fair, actually, anasthesiologist training is pretty extensive. It's a high risk profession, people (or at least the people connected to the person) get really cranky if the person dies on the table thanks to the anesthesiologist. It's a... skillset, but a fairly comprehensive one. I have a friend who tranined as one, it took him over 9 years.

To be fair, I don't think being an anesthesiologist qualifes you to be the "highest doctor in the land," OR the VP. I have mixed feelings about good old Pence, but one thing's for certain.... I wouldn't allow him to be my anasthesiologist at *this point* he's looking a bit like *he* might die while *I* was on the table, at this point.

I've kinda decided that judging our politicians should be done based on how they look (in part), I've noticed the really corrupt ones kind of beam evil out of their eyes while whithering away. Did anyone see how happy Dubya looked at the inaguration? He looked like a man who was like, "Okay, I fulfilled my obligation to my family, now I'm hanging out on my ranch. Period." :) I thought Obama was looking okay until I went to my "Inauguration Ceremony" at which my first question was, (by the security guard) "Where is your family, they should be here celebrating with you?" And it never even *occurred* to my family that they would accompany me to said celebration (I had to hastily invent an excuse) and I saw his speedily recorded and early in his term(s) "Welcome to America," speech and I was like Holy Batman! There was lots of other awkward stuff like people getting up to "share their journey to America" and flagwaving, (I am now the proud owner of a flag, it was in my "info" packet) and the Judge said that "Normally I am having to make unhappy decisions, but this is one of those few times where I'm not," and I was like (silently) "So dude, you never find anyone not guilty?"

To be fair, I'm not big on ceremonies, some people loved it and I understand why :)

But yeah, I got through it, and to my main point, I wouldn't let Pence put me under, and if all the staff were women only, he wouldn't be able to do it without his wife present, and I'm not sure how I'd feel about that.

It's totally not worth the effort, let's just say my reading skillz were poor this morning and I conflated some things, leading to political blather that... skittered around. Seriously, you are missing *nothing*.

Anna

Ah! Don't feel bad, we've all done that! :thumb:

If I was a wise man (a claim no on has ever made), I would have the always lovely Mrs CMD read everything I write before posting.

How Many Individuals in the Entire Process had to "Look the Other Way" for Indiana to create an Illegal Monopolized e-liquid Market?
I'm not so sure "looking the other way" is always to blame.
I'm also not saying it's not.

What I would like to say is that there are WAY TOO MANY laws.
And more and more and more every day.

Who can keep up with them?
None of us can, and that's a fact.

If you go to a Law Library and measure the number of feet (yards in some cases) occupied by statute books and regulations for each state you can get a good feel for the condition in which the citizens of the state find themselves.

"Look the Other Way" was just my PC way of saying "Purposely Ignored", "Intended to Collude", "Participated in Illegal Monopolistic Activities", and "used the Indiana Constitutions as a Door Mat to wipe their Mud Covered Crony Feet".
