Robin is a very old lady...![]()
Just because I have 6 grandkids and the oldest is 18, that does not make me old.

Robin is a very old lady...![]()
I thought you became a senior at 55.
I wish..my life would be a bit less expensive.I thought you became a senior at 55.
We should all age gracefully and be proud of our grey hair (even the hair sprouting from nose and ears..)Just because I have 6 grandkids and the oldest is 18, that does not make me old.![]()
Darn it Robin! Haven't you been informed that after a member collectsRobin is a very old lady...![]()

a bunch of those disagree/dislike ratings one of the more..shall we say...stringent ECF moderators
throws the member in the sin bin or makes him or her disappear in the middle of the night?
You've broken my heart.
When I said you're very old it was a sign of RESPECT kinda like recognizing a wise old crone's wisdom..
Yea well... You might have noticed by now that I don't play that "what women want to hear" game.Dig that hole a little deeper why don't you... lol. You need the list of "what women want to hear" sentences.I didnt see "wise old crone" on that list..
hahahaha
I look at it this way...I earned each and every one of those grey hairs and every wrinkle too so I wear them proudly. Some folks seem to think long hair is for the younger generation but mine is down to my waist. I was a natural blond in my younger days but instead of all of it turning grey it is now a reddish brown (except for the grey mixed in)I love my grey hair, I've been waiting for it a long time. We go grey early in my family, and I wear mine proudly, can't wait til it all turns (I'm almost there). I remember when I was about 23 I was at a music festival and camping and I came out of the showers to see this beautiful older woman lovingly combing her silver (long) hair, and I just looked at her, and said, "I love your hair, I can't wait until mine gets that way!" She smiled and said, "Me. Too."
25 years later, I am getting there, LOL, and I am always amazed at the amount of dying of hair that goes on for women in their late 40s or early 50s. I get that "grey" equals "old" in our society, but I don't see it that way at all! Every strand of it is like a reminder of "Despite all the things I've done, I didn't die." I love it when people go grey, I really do, and I think it can be absolutely beautiful. Of course, I think one's attitude about it matters as well... It's hard to look good in grey if you *hate* it, LOL.

And, in my case anyway, that is a flat out miracle. Back in my teens and 20s my friends always said that "I defied chemistry". Even after I quit playing with chemistry I still pushed the edge. So yeah, every one of these grey hairs is bought and paid for...... and I am still around to talk about it. I am just grateful it turned grey and not "gone".Every strand of it is like a reminder of "Despite all the things I've done, I didn't die."
I shaved off my white beard when too many people either confused me with Santa ClausI went gray probably in my early 40's, and I never regretted it. I started getting the senior discounts w/0 asking for it, people open and hold the door for you, it's been great. Now I'm 74, walk with a cane, and slightly bent over, folks are so polite, I love it.![]()
You're a cutie pie.I look at it this way...I earned each and every one of those grey hairs and every wrinkle too so I wear them proudly. I smoked for about 45 years, started smoking at 18 and have been smoke free for almost 6 years. Needless to say, I am no longer a spring chicken but I am not old.(sometimes my body tries to convince me otherwise but I tell it to shut up). Age is a state of mind and I refuse to act old.
Oops, what were we talking about.....Someone making a fool of himself. Yep, back on topic![]()

No hypocrisy here..though I tend to be diplomatic.
My tribe assigns great respect to elders.
Furthermore, my homourous comment to my friend @Robino1 has caused me two "disagree" X's
now, one from Robin and another from @Burnie who either doesn't know I often kid around with Robin
whom I truly love ..
I will now exit this thread dramatically..
No, I know you respect my opinion (sometimes)..thanks for the Agape.lol.. I know you werent intending disrespect..I was playing.
No need to exit the thread dramatically... stick around. You know we love you.
