"By creating three branches of government, the delegates built a "check and balance" system into the Constitution. This system was built so that no one branch of our government could become too powerful."

Checks and balances in action, indeed.

Am i interpreting this correctly ;
- vendors have 90 days from today to introduce new products to the market without a PMTA application !?
- products currently on the market are ok until at least Aug 2018 !?
Im depressed enough kent, and you had to post a picture of Hillary?![]()
Can I link this here? It's a very well-written commentary on the deeming regulations by Michael Siegel, Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences, Boston University School of Public Health. Good read.

NNNOOOOOOO DONT DO IT!!!!! Do like CASAA says and remain calm!Oh well. I'll just go back to smoking. The FDA wins.
But anything introduced after Feb. 2, 2007 would still need a PMTA submitted, or proof it is substantially equivalent to something already on the market in 2007 or before? I hope the manufacturers are saving their pennies!That's how SmokeyJoe interpreted it. So anyone putting a new device or thinking of one, needs to get it out within the next 90 days.
They have no authority, none whatsoever, to regulate anything that isn't tobacco. Even their deeming equivalency is an atrocious affront to logic and reason. But they will.Good luck.
I quoted this all over social media. Thank you for the post.
All the people on this thread WOW!
Thats why WE have to get the word out on social media that the press ONCE AGAIN are putting a bad spin out there. I wish I could hire Trumps crazy Scottie to get this out there. She is a master at spin.Expect every press telling tomorrow how well FDA is protecting the children from the tobbaco menace
Okay, we all know the regulation is pure BS.
The only question is, what now? Should we panic? How can we fight back? What can we expect? Surely this is not going down without a fight.
When can we hear about news of the first lawsuit or court order? That's what I want to know. I don't want to just cry and take it.
I hope you dont mind. I just used this quote on FB. You are so right! just like freddom of speech. one thing leads to another.No, it began a long time ago, with the demonization of cigarettes with usage bans and the whole second-hand smoke crap.
This is just the next step. Further down the line: control of your sugar intake, fat intake, red meat intake. Basically, unless you're eating organic kale, it will be controlled by a government agency somewhere... maybe the FDA, maybe your state.
