I think it started here:

FDA Deeming updates - Tuesday May 10th community events

And maybe not with Lessifer (who said: ("not his opinion") but the video itself. But Katya set the record straight on flavors here:

Tuesday May 10th community events

"So I went back to the source--the Cole-Bishop amendment doesn't say anything about flavors." ... and quotes the amendment. What VPA is doing, I'm not sure.... I support both the HR 2058 bill and the amendment and as others have said, as have I, the Appropriations Bill has the better chance because the Prez would have to veto a main spending bill to get rid of the amendment (if it goes to him as written). I just wish that CASAA (perhaps they do now) would have a CTA for the Approp. bill as well as the HR 2058 - both of which then could be supported here.
Yeah, I only skimmed the video, but I did hear them mention now having the ability to ban flavors if they wanted to. I did point out to the guy that posted the vid, on FB, that the amendment itself doesn't mention flavors, and actually doesn't appear to grant more powers, since they've already basically got full control.

You are still wrong, you have assigned the bullet as the killer, That bullet would still be nestled neatly in the chamber if THE KILLER had not operated the gun/trigger. A tool, no hammer no house. Using your line of reckoning, I have a fail safe way to end all deaths caused by drunken drivers. End production of gasoline! No gas no vehicle moving fast enough to harm anyone, a drunk can only push a car so fast. :p

I've always thought we should go back to horses. A horse has enough brains not to run into another horse, even if his rider doesn't. ;)

People have been requesting it for Netflix. Someone sent a screenshot of their online chat to Aaron where the CSM says they've had quite a few requests.

I should have bookmarked it but there is a guy who has worked for the FDA, tobacco act and is now a consultant. Says he can advise with lawsuits etc against them since he knows how they work. That might be worth checking into.

I disagree that you tube can't reach enough folks, if you have lots of vids out there and they go viral, that would be a big thing. It may not reach enough older folks, I don't know the stats for that. It is certainly one way to work it without the giant costs of airtime.

Youtube, Instagram, Vine, Tumbler, places like Hulu, there are quite a few alternatives to national spots nowadays.

You forgot about electric cars:

Lol I saw somewhere that someone was recharging their electric car with a gas powered generator, irony?

Dang! My testimony from 2013 doesn't appear to have uploaded correctly. Only part of the first line appears. I'm going to have to submit it again - after an extensive edit, I was in rawr mode when I wrote it.

Actually, it does mention flavors, albeit in a purposely vague context.

Page 8:

"The following is a nonexhaustive list of examples of components and parts used with electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) (including e- cigarettes): e-liquids; atomizers; batteries (with or without variable voltage); cartomizers (atomizer plus replaceable fluid-filled cartridge); digital display/lights to adjust settings; clearomisers, tank systems, flavors, vials that contain e-liquids, and programmable software."

I remember no one thought they could regulate batteries and such and here we are with everything lumped into this. I have enough stuff for the rest of my life except batteries, those won't hold up forever so stockpiling won't solve the issue. Guess this granny will be lurking in the back alleyways.

Have you had horses? Mine often ran into each other. And into me if they weren't paying attention. One time I was bending down fixing the corner of a corral while my mare was galloping around playing with the dog. She was looking to the right at him and clipped me with her left shoulder. I ended up face down in the dirt. She was very upset, but luckily I wasn't hurt.
