yes they are ... IMO, they should have more information on their website other than just asking for money.

HALO has already filed

You have to Remember, AEMSA is a Trade Organization. And a Trade Organization serves it's Members 1st and Foremost.

Not say'n that AEMSA's Members priorities are not in many ways Aligned with ours. Just that AEMSA mission is to serve Its Members.

I remember no one thought they could regulate batteries and such and here we are with everything lumped into this. I have enough stuff for the rest of my life except batteries, those won't hold up forever so stockpiling won't solve the issue. Guess this granny will be lurking in the back alleyways.
18650's will not go away. They are used in far too many cordless products from flashlights to power tools to laptops. Dont fret.

I'm curious about their push for donations ... something about a lawsuit, however, no information on their blog.

That's what they need for driverless cars - horse power with horse brains.

Horses aren't stupid, but they are quirky. A driverless car with a horse brain would go fast when the weather was cool, barely move when it was hot and, unless there was some kind of override, turn around and speed home if the tank needed to be topped off.

Have you had horses? Mine often ran into each other. And into me if they weren't paying attention. One time I was bending down fixing the corner of a corral while my mare was galloping around playing with the dog. She was looking to the right at him and clipped me with her left shoulder. I ended up face down in the dirt. She was very upset, but luckily I wasn't hurt.
I think you may need a horse-proof lock on your liquor cabinet.

I can't wait to see what the FDA has to say ... when they get caught banning devices that are 100% successful at helping people quit smoking.

Literally, lives are at stake here :smokie:

Good spin on vaping, fight back on falsehoods…all good. But there's an old fashioned remedy that I think is the perfect prescription for the Fraud and Death Agency —> RIDICULE. Use it often, and don't be stingy. Make it personal. Just as they've done to us.

Good luck. :)

None of those power tools or laptops have consumer replaceable individual cells though.

Flashlights are about it for consumer replaceable cells.
And those tend to use lower CDR / Higher MAH cells than is used in vaping.
Of course there are likely some rad flashlights out there which will burn the paint off your truck if shined on it.

And AEMSA did speak in front of the FDA, arguing in favor of refillable devices - back when they were pretending to listen to people for a few minutes...

I am surprised they do not write about what is going on in their blog ... not sure if they are on twitter either?

Thank you. Sometimes I think one of the difficulties we have conveying our message is that our own language is so colloquial and cliquish, half of us don't understand it ourselves.

Actually, it does mention flavors, albeit in a purposely vague context.

Page 8:

"The following is a nonexhaustive list of examples of components and parts used with electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) (including e- cigarettes): e-liquids; atomizers; batteries (with or without variable voltage); cartomizers (atomizer plus replaceable fluid-filled cartridge); digital display/lights to adjust settings; clearomisers, tank systems, flavors, vials that contain e-liquids, and programmable software."

We're talking about the Cole/Bishop amendment to the Appropriations Bill, here:

Keller Heckman | The Cole-Bishop Amendment to the Agricultural Appropriations Bill Amending the Grandfather Date for "Deemed" Tobacco Products Passes House Committee - What Next?

No mention of flavors, which Katya, Lessifer and I have said; although the video mentioned, implies that there are flavors mentioned in the amendment - although there is no mention of them. Some of the people commenting on the amendment did mention flavors in various ways but that is no part of the amendment, as anyone can see if they click on the link above.

What you cited is the Deeming, which of course mentions flavors. And there nothing vague about it - they will be banned (unless applications are approved) if introduced as having anything to do with ecigarettes.
