A misquote but a funny one.

Here's another that was actually said:

“The Second Day of July 1776 will be the most memorable Epocha, in the History of America. . . . It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires, and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.”
— John Adams to Abigail Adams, July 3, 1776

1776 filled the calendar with dates deserving of remembrance and even celebration. John Adams, delegate from Massachusetts to the Second Continental Congress, wrote home to his wife Abigail that future generations would celebrate July 2, the date the Congress voted to approve Richard Henry Lee’s resolution declaring independence from Britain for 13 of the British colonies in America.

Two days later, that same Congress approved the wording of the document Thomas Jefferson had drafted to announce Lee’s resolution to the world.

Today, we celebrate the date of the document Jefferson wrote, and Richard Henry Lee* is often a reduced to a footnote, if not erased from history altogether.

Quote of the moment: John Adams, celebrating the 2nd of July

*Richard Henry Lee - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Richard Henry Lee was the fourth great uncle of Robert E Lee, who was reportedly born in the same room as R.H. Lee. :- )

Time to Phase out BT Dependency in Government and Free the People to make a Healthier Choice!

They Speak of the Country Controlling Cartels in other countries yet Yield to those in America. The RJR's and Johnson and Johnson's that Control Billions in Cash Flow.

If we, as a Society really want tobacco Related Health issues to subside, Everyone needs to be accountable.
No more Tobacco Lobbiest - not needed, their rights are set in stone.
No more underhanded Pharma Lobbyiest.
No more Pharma Funding Charities to Lobby.
No more Senators in the Pockets of any Health related lobbyist.
No more FDA interference in unproven Health Risk products. - No proof(real Proof) No Game!
No more Restricting Lower Health Risk Advertising .

Put Tobacco Taxes (100%) to Tobacco related health expenses, Harm reduction planning and Nowhere Else. Half life the programs and set End Life for Tobacco Tax funding. Game over!

As long as Government uses Tobacco Taxes for General Funding:
1) They are Dependent on Tobacco Sales
2) They are Lying Crooks

1 question

Abolish FDA entirely. What you ask of them is beyond their comprehension after over 5 decades of these exact tactics working flawlessly.

Does that 100% include administration fees to pay decent wages to decent folks appropriating these funds? Anything otherwise has 0% chances of working long term.

Amendment Reasonable

Administration would need to be minimally disbursed (i.e. Full disclosure) to Maximum needs - Needs of the people, not the budget. Agents should be Assigned with full expectation of Short term Positions<likely 20yrs to EOL>

* Clive Bates estimates if Countries took Affirmative action<Support Vapor Products> 2040 is doable. By that time Both Tobacco use and Likely Vaping would hit Below 5%{Inevitable Extinction} Even if Vaping held higher, Health savings alone would be unimaginable.

*** I am not Government level......or even college level Educated, but I am able to see where things need to go to fix the problem.
Repeating Decades old Failed practices is the way of Mad Men.
A New and Far Different Approach is Required.

Add Tobacco Tax/Settlement to an Already Balanced Budget(Surplus). Use it without Effecting the Mainframe Budget.(limited Programs) Reduce Sales/Taxes/Settlement Dollars and escort Tobacco quietly out the back door.

Healthcare Savings from Drops in Tobacco use will, in time, offset any Tobacco Tax losses.

Completely Average

Unfortunately you run into this inconvenient thing I like to call Reality.

The reality is that to make the type of changes you feel would work you would need the people who profit from the system as it stands now to vote to lose their income.

It's the same as term limits for Congress. We can all agree that term limits would be a good thing, but how many congressmen are going to vote for their own termination from their job? How many congressmen who take money from big tobacco and big pharma would vote to end the lobbying and the money that lobbying brings them to be ended? Would you vote for your own pay cut or vote for you to be fired from your job?

If I could wave my magic wand I could make hundreds of changes to our government that would make it work better for the people, but reality is the people in power have worked for more than 200 years making a system that keeps them in power and keeps the money flowing into their pockets. That isn't going to change without a full blown revolution.

Enter obligatory reference of historical downfall and termination of great societies/powers.

During the rise everyone benefits.
Structure and society is built.
Eventually even the poor live as kings in other countries do.
Lethargy and complacency amongst the people set in.
The powers that be see and sieze the opportunity for greed and to take advantage.
Lethargy and complacency ensues amongst the lower classes.
Those in power cross a line.
Lower classes begin to suffer en mass.
Hatred builds.
Lower classes with great suffering begin to fight back as individuals and fail.
Most are too afraid of the consequences and allow the suffering to ensue.

Eventually comes a time when they (we) have had enough, band together and over throw the government ending what once was a great society.

Mark my words. Lethargy and complacency will ensue until the day when an all out class war breaks out.

And as history teaches us, the poor will win the war and everyone of us will lose a great society.

FDA/Congress/Deeming... But a mere example of said turn for the worst in motion.

Deeming effects Vaping's capabilities for Health progress.
Deeming Boost State Regulatory Action against Vapor products.
Deeming Boost likelihood of High Taxation.
Taxes Support offset Tobacco use - cost loss product exchange.
Offset Losses promote continues Tobacco consumption.
FDA Creating a Round Robin Tobacco effect.

This is about Deeming and all that goes with Deeming.

The Opposite of Deeming is Tobacco Extinction

First thing is to ban ALL paid Lobbyists. Lobbyists can exist but only collect reasonable expenses from their supporters. NO salary no big perks.

Make it a treasonous offense for any politician to accept kickbacks or campaign contributions for promised favors.
Not just an ethics violation but an executable offense.

All campaign contributions will be anonymous thru a 3rd party.
No politician is allowed to know who contributed to their campaign or party.

Its starting:

Hi folks - I recieved a notice from last week the PayPal no longer will allow the sale of ANY vaping products as they consider those to be tobacco related. They mentioned the FDA Ruling as the reason for the crackdown on these sales.

This was in relation to coils......

Here we go again with PayPal
