I know many, many, many people who simply live in their own little worlds.
Well, since you brought it up, may I also offer that many people on "hobby vaping" forums are also living in their own little worlds.
While reading about people stockpiling, for instance, spending thousands and thousands of $$ (which most people don't have at their ready) to those who own 10-70 "mods", please understand that most of the population of the US is really not even *REMOTELY* interested in doing any of this.
Here, there is big concerns. I'm on many other topic-specific forums and most people are busy trying to figure out how to balance the chemistry in their pool, or how to figure out the 5 generation pedigrees of horses who will come from all over the world to run in the Breeders Cup.
But at least they seem to realize that their "interests" are niche-level interests.
While we have certain activists here telling us who to vote for for POTUS, strictly based on the one-issue "vaping" thing. :rolls eyes:
As for membership, there are many vapers who just bought an evod kit (nice little kit!) and have never found the need to upgrade. Others were members here, used vaping to get off cigs, then lowered their nic levels and stopped vaping as well. Smoking and vaping is in their distant past.
All I'm saying is that not everybody desires to get into vaping at the level hobby vapers do, and not everybody feels that all this regulation is the "end of the world" for them. They don't carry their ecig around 24/7, they don't need it all day, they can go on an airplane w/out worrying about vaping, etc. etc.
Vaping is something that happens at MANY DIFFERENT LEVELS. And, just as there are political and social issues that I strongly believe in, there is not enough time in the day to DEDICATE myself to all of them.
I do and help with a lot of dog rescue. That is my thing. Changing the laws and pushing for serious consquences for negligent and abusive dog (and horse) owners is a full time political effort, esp in the southern regions where regulations are very lax.
