Dang it, I just now received notice of the Right to vape Tour coming to my area in 3 hours. Why wouldn't that notice have been sent in advance? My EV isn't charged so I can't make it with 3 hours notice or I would have been there to meet the SFATA and CASAA folks.

I know, right? If the back up battery didn't cost 5k, I would have that, too. You know me too well, lol

It is charging as we speak but won't be fully charged in time to rush to this event.

You know there's something very wrong with this picture when thousands of drugs get released with far more serious side effects and not perfectly safe-but vapes have to pass 100 times more scrutiny for being safe for the public. I have to laugh when I see Chantix commercials and they list the possible side effects like seizures, stroke, depression, suicide, manic episodes, etc. So which is safer as a cessation device? As usual, we are over regulated on nonsense and under regulated on drugs that can kill you or have killed enough people to be pulled off the market.

Which just proves this is all about money. Who has it. Who's giving it. And who's getting it.

Just that people are calling the judge to beg her and that is making everything worse. I hope folks stop doing that, it is more harm than good.
    Yup... that's all I've seen...

"If anyone in the industry (consumer or business) has been calling or emailing the judge in the R2B & Nicopure vs FDA lawsuit, please STOP. She is not a legislator and the judicial process does not work that way. In fact it ...... her off."
"Judge was firm and asked slot of questions from both sides.
All we can do now is wait for her decision.
Heading home I'm beat." -- Dimitris Agrafiotis

What, you mean everything in the vaping world can't be solved by the consumers being more involved?

Sounds like it went as expected with questions to both sides. The wait is unknown with this stuff, so as posted, it's just a waiting game. I'm not surprised she is tired of calls and letters, but I don't think it's that rare when hearing a case affecting many individuals. It's probably pissing her staff off more as they're the ones who would be dealing with it.

We sent a lot of letters to Judge Leon in the first FDA case.
I don't recall hearing he got ...... off about it.

Different judge. Different level of tolerance. In truth, under perfect conditions, even a million letters shouldn't affect her ruling as she should act according to the law and the evidence offered to her in court. But in the real world................?

I've always believed our letters had a positive effect on Judge Leon.
The concept of a perfect world notwithstanding.
    :)

I like the idea of a judge who doesn't get ...... off at letters sent to them.
It makes me feel a lot better.
