Marketing practices know to appeal to youth:

1) Tell them they can't have it
You got it.
Except I don't think it's marketing practices which are at fault. It's parental practices and desires. Never going to change, so just get used to it, parents and governments. Lock up your little preciouses if you can't control them. You couldn't control me at that age, I couldn't control (nor want to) my boys at that age.

If parents need to "control" their kids by the time they reach their teens, they've already failed.

Nope. I'll raise cattle myself before I give that up.
Got me in trouble ;)... went and bought a whole prime ribeye (@18 lbs). Now I have to find the energy to cut it into nice thick slabs and vacuum pack all but what’s going on the grill tonight. Yummm

No worries!!!!....Different freezer ;). Deep freezer is for food, the freezer in the pantry fridge is for nic. (It doesn’t get opened unless I’m getting a bottle out.) Kitchen fridge/freezer is for things I need most often. I’d love to take over the drawer in the deep freezer, but it’s crammed full of fish, shrimp, (soon to be) duck and venison. It’ll feel like summer to most of y’all...low 80’s all next week. I need it to cool down at least at night so my citrus will all start turning.

How do you keep your duck from drying out when you cook it? Mine is always dry when I cook it. PM me so I don’t throw the thread out of wack.

I've given up hope (a lot of it) at this point. And anyone who does a modicum of research in the subject (non vapers do not) know these tactics are horrifically transparent. I wish they would just be honest about it at this point, you know: "We are destroying vaping using lies, because we hate vaping and also want to tax it as much as possible."

At least then, more vapers currently listening to the sweet Gottleib lies (and, I am an ANT) would have time to prepare.

It's a lot of work and money to stockpile, but I started on the day I read the deeming thread. It was kind of a "spend now, maybe not be able to SPEND later, or spend on expensive, horrible vapes later" situation for me. I don't regret a single credit card bill, they will be paid off faster than it will/would have cost me later, I am fairly certain. And at the moment, I only have a limited amount of time to "get creative" as it were.

So, yeah. Just say what is happening.

Most parents who think they have their "teens" under control don't not 100%. I mean, what is more important is responding APPROPRIATELY when your teen performs a dumb act, they all do THEY ALL do my sis's oldest kid, who was the best kid of all time is doing what I did in adolescence, acting out.. When my sis found a bottle of tequila under her bed, they responded appropriately, meaning the talked to their couples counselor about what to do (some can skip this step, LOL) sat her down, explained that she could not be trusted as her prefrontal cortex is not hooked up yet (teens HATE when parents say that, LOL). They also locked the liquor cabinet and said if things continued she'd have random UAs as needed.

Inappropriate parenting would have been to contact the ATF to demand the tequila be taken off the market. They did not do that,.

Spoken like a true Southerner! Sometimes, there's nothing like it. ^^^
Well, I'm actually a Chicago boy. Lived there the first 38 years of my life. But moved to the south nearly 21 years ago and learned the southern ways pretty fast. I even speak the language...y'all. Oddly, I find midwesterners and southerners have a lot in common.
