Call me a rebel, but I would rather buy vape supplies for my teenagers than see them obtain tobacco somewhere else. The problem as I see it is with the adults who buy vapor products for kids under the table. Better enforcement of current laws? Stiffer penalties? Maybe commercials warning adults who buy vapor products for teens that they will face a stiff fine and jail time might thwart that behavior, and back those threats up with actual fines and jail time when they are caught. Word will get out.
Forgive me. I should have said, "The smart move would be to offer free cigarettes to every current and former smoker over sixty-two to speed the process." This would kill off that cohort more quickly.Nah, someone that hasn't smoked until that age, would be unlikely to start despite being free.
Let's just say we don't agree. It would have been far easier to let Deeming take affect on schedule and he could just blame the previous admin versus going through all the gymnastics that he has. I just see no logic in your argument. Sorry,I believe he does. He extended the Deeming deadline to make it very easy for anybody including teens to get their hands on e-cigarettes. And he is waiting until it is so bad that he could say he had no choice but to drop the hammer.
No Gottlieb knew that coming down on vaping right away would get such a huge amount of backlash, it would have failed for sure. He needs a very good reason to do so where most won't question taking vaping out. This is why the delay. And he is trying to encourage more teens into vaping by telling them you shouldn't do this. Which just means try it to teens.
Why do you think the next step is by banning flavors? That would stop most of the adults from vaping and those who currently vape, probably to go back to smoking. Haven't you noticed what they say they are doing isn't what happens? Like they say they are doing this for the children. But the children isn't going to harmed since vaping is too new for most of them anyway. But the effects of regs has a huge effect on us adults. And that is why they are doing it. To target adults and hide behind children to do it.
The kiddie Juul craze will be over once they get a hold of these:
Denver may decriminalize magic mushrooms after thousands sign measure
Wonder if they will be flavored?...![]()
All I have to say is I'm moving to Denver.

And after spending some time with those mushrooms you'll be convinced you're lying on a beach in Tampico anyway.

I absolutely agree.
A number of cities want to provide a "safe" environment for administering illegal substances.
They also seem to be the leaders in anti vaping.
Welcome to the upside down world.
I'm pretty sure he can afford his own provari.I could not possibly speculate on Gottleib. He seems a bit bipolary to me but time will tell. I think he really just isn't saying what is going to happen. Whether it's because he doesn't know, or he wants to milk things for a while, I have no idea.
While I hate that kind of uncertainty it's certainly better than the big ban hammer.

ETA: if he was part of a large chain of "upscale" vape shops, maybe he just hates gas stations and the juul and finds them low rent, compared to his chain. Maybe it's about "taste."
I am willing to send him the provari of his choice.
Unless Gottlieb is a tootle puffer, a Provari would be so "old school".I'm pretty sure he can afford his own provari.
What's next Lysergic acid Diethylamide? With the legalization of all these "other products", it's almost as if we are part of a social experiment to see just what chemicals we have to be subjected to in order to make the population easier to control. I mean let's face it, a population that is willing to pump themselves full of hallucinogens and psychoactive chemicals isn't going to be watching or even care what the government is doing.
Nah, he'd probably be happier with one of those nicotine inhalers that Pharma put out. With the nicotine at a low, nonaddictive level, of course.Unless Gottlieb is a tootle puffer, a Provari would be so "old school".![]()
Ewww...Probably smokes Lucky Strikes. Sans filters.
I preferred Camels, no filter. Funny thing is I started them in High School because when I smoked Marlboro everybody was always bumming smokes off me, bled me dry. When I switched to Camel nonfiltered the bumming stopped.Probably smokes Lucky Strikes. Sans filters.
