My father's brand, along with unfiltered Pall Malls and rollies (he had the neatest little gizmo for making those). He quit in his thirties, though.
Guess I'm just a wimp-I needed a filter. Like Mike, I preferred Camels, but after taxes and prices jumped so much I started making my own, but I would buy the tubes that already had the filters on them. I still have my little machine floating around here somewhere too.

Trash it, lest you think about using it again......

I preferred Camels, no filter. Funny thing is I started them in High School because when I smoked Marlboro everybody was always bumming smokes off me, bled me dry. When I switched to Camel nonfiltered the bumming stopped. ;)

No one bummed from me, I smoked Newports. They only make menthol.

If we can get those shrooms and ... out there fast enough, I bet the teens will forget what a Juul is. And their home address.

Would they? Or would they start mating like rabbits, protesting the government, and drawing peace signs everywhere.

Haven't for 6 years.....but probably a good idea anyway. Thought about putting it in the freezer with my nic to remind myself that if I let it run out that's what I'm stuck with. Not that I'm in danger of running out any time soon, but you know, another liter here and there never hurt anybody.

I never liked nonfilters. The ends always got soggy, and I'd get bits of tobacco in my mouth.

Me, too. Hardly anyone smoked them when I started. I was very surprised when they became more common than Marlboros decades later.

My dad smoked nonfilter Pall Malls. I got my first ones from him.

Did he call them Pell Mells? For some reason, both my parents did.
Well, that's the way it was supposed to be pronounced, so your parents were smart! :) Named after a street in England, I believe. My grandparents smoked them. Dad was a Lucky man, Mom smoked whatever light cigarette was in style- VA Slims (I won't use the vulgar nickname! ;)), Vantage, Merit, True, others I forget, etc. I was into these (seriously- I remember cutting paper up and making play cigarettes, and even a pack to put them in-copying the Lucky logo):
